"Yep. Okay. Cool. Thank you, I will talk to you later" you said bluntly and quickly as Yelena walked into the room you shared with her. Yelena tilted her head at you as you hung up the phone. "What was that about?" she asked. "Oh, never you mind, are you ready for your mission?" you asked before she could say anything else.
"Yes. It'll only be a few days, will you be, okay?" she replied.
"I'll be fine, as long as you are safe and come home to be, I won't have any issues" you walked up to Yelena who 6 months ago asked you to be her wife. "I mean it Elena, come home to me" you kissed her softly. "I always do" she assured you. She grabbed her bag and made her way out the door. Once you heard her car leave you gave Nat a call.
"She's on her way to the compound now, she has no idea" you said excitingly.
"I'll keep it that way, do what you need. She'll be fine" Natasha spoke. "I can't believe this" she added with a slightly chuckle. "Stop, she's going to be so happy, I just know it!" you replied before hanging up the phone.
You'd been trying a little secret from Yelena for a few weeks now and it wasn't easy. She's a trained assassin and spy, trying to find excuses for your recent behaviour and the sneaking around was getting hard to keep up with. You were just glad that Natasha had your back, you told her first and she was happy for the two of you. She wouldn't show it, but she was excited for the two of you.
You first met Yelena when she saved you from being hit by a car, your fault, you were too busy on the phone and forgot to look both ways. Instantly you lost yourself in the eyes of the Russian who had so many secrets.
You had at least 4 days max to get things sorted for Yelena to come home to her surprise. It wasn't a big mission; Yelena was still freeing widows with Natasha. You looked online for some ideas on how to tell Yelena the news, you saw a few ideas and settled for something simple so she wouldn't freak out too much. You grabbed your keys and went to the mall.
You grabbed everything you needed along with basic household items and some food for dinner.

"I think Y/n is cheating on me" Yelena confessed to Natasha as they drove to their new location. "What? Don't be silly. She loves you" Natasha replied, "what makes you think that?" Nat added.
"She's been really strange recently. She takes phone calls privately and quickly hangs up when I enter the room. She's always out all day and comes back after dinner and she's quick to rush me out the door"
