You were enjoying your afternoon snack of your favourite potato chips while relaxing on the sofa in your best friend's apartment. You were waiting for Kate to return from walking Lucky before going out bowling for something different to do.

Yelena came storming into the apartment, slamming the door so hard you jumped slightly.

"Hey, what's all that about?" you asked throwing your head over the sofa looking at her upside down. Yelena huffs, ignoring your questioned as she stormed into the bathroom with another slamming of the door. Placing your bag of potato chips on the coffee table, you made your way to the bathroom and knocked on the door.

"Yelena are you okay?" you asked and still, no reply. "Okay, you don't want to talk, that's cool, uhm, Kate and I are going bowling when she gets back with Lucky, you should come with us. It'll be fun" you offered.

Yelena swung the door open, ignoring you once more. Maybe you should've taken the hint but that was a little tricky for you when you were one of the most talkative people anybody knew. You always wanted to make people laugh, smile or on bad days, help make them feel better. Seeing that Yelena clearly wasn't having a good day you couldn't help but try to cheer her up.

"Come on, Lena! It'll be fun, we'll go bowling, grab some pizza after and probably end up getting some frozen yoghurt on the way home." You added as she walked by you, unzipping her jacket, and throwing it over the sofa. "You know, Kate lowkey sucks at bowling which you'd think she'd be decent at it" you chuckled which only earned a glare from Yelena.

"Or we could just stay here and watch all your favourite movies?"

Still, nothing as she walked down the small hall to her bedroom, slamming the door in your face.

"I'll just ignore that and not take it personally" you joked hoping it would lighten the mood a little. "Honestly, I think you should come with Kate and me. It seems like you need a good time, some good company, and good laughs to cheer you up"

"Will you please just shut up?!" Yelena opened her door, snapping at you. "All you do is talk! All the damn time, even when you sleep! Just shut up! I don't want to go out bowling and I don't want to watch some damn movies!" she raised her voice, "all I want is to be the hell alone! Now will you get out of our damn apartment! You're here all the time" she slammed the door once more.

As much as you tried to ignore her outburst, telling yourself that she didn't mean what she said but Yelena was a very honest person, blunt and harsh which only made you believe what she said was her true thoughts about you.
