i was so glad lara accepted. to be honest, i wasn't talking to her as often because i was hanging out with scara and we had the whole collab with quinn.

but she was still my best friend, and i was glad she wasn't upset with me for not hanging out with her as much.

i got dressed in my best pajamas, i packed a bag of necessities, and i grabbed a jacket before heading out of his apartment.

"so, what happened with you and scara?" lara asks, grabbing a chip from the bowl.

"quinn told me that scara told her about me and him having relationship problems. i asked him if we could talk when he comes home but no, he's sleeping over a friend's house." i explain, rolling my eyes.

"why is he sleeping at his friends house?" lara asks.

"he's working on a big project with his friend, and apparently he just can't miss on working this specific day." i mock him.

"honestly... i understand why you're upset, but this project seems to be pretty important to him." lara suggested.

"yeah, i guess you're right. im still upset he talked to quinn about us having relationship issues. if he felt that way, he could have just came to me." i sighed.

"yeah, that's pretty messed up. but id just wait to hear his side of the story. maybe quinn made it sound worse than it might actually be." lara told me.

"shit, you're right. now i feel like shit for being so mean to him." i covered my face, due to embarrassment.

i couldn't believe i acted so childish towards him. i really hoped i didn't hurt his feelings.

"just apologize. and hear him out when he comes back home. i get why you're upset though, but he's not completely in the wrong more so than you are." lara commented.

"you're right, ill apologize." i told her.

lara really was a bit more sensible than i was sometimes. i might need her advice more often.

i was satisfied with how i handled this, so all i had to do now was have a productive conversation with him tomorrow.
