After college, I walked to Abigail's house with Abigail and Tom.

"So how was your lunch?" Tom questioned acting like he was our number one fan.

"It was good. We talked all lunch and then he walked me to my class."

"Oh my freaking god!" Abigail looked at me with wide eyes.

"What, am I missing something?"

"He walked you to your class, that means he's a gentleman." Tom was smiling a little too much.

"Yeah so. Just means he's nice, nothing else."

"Nothing else." Abigail mocked me while she opened her front door.

"Im telling you the truth. Nothing is going on between us, we've only met once."

We kept this conversion going for about an hour. So basically, until Tom had to go home.

"Ok now he's gone, tell me the truth about him." Abigail demanded after closing her bedroom door, like she saw right through me.

"What are you on about?"

"You like him and don't want to talk about it around Tom. That's why he left."

"He didn't actually have to go home?"

"Nope, I told him to go so I could talk to you about lover boy."

"No no no. Not lover boy."

"Could be. You never know."

"No, he's just a friend."

"Yeah right, I've heard that bullshit before."

"Ok fine, your right," I sighed with defeat, "I like Jacob Carter."
