Hongjoong's POV

"Hongjoong Sir, your father is requesting your presence in his office." My butler Yunho speaks gently as he enters my room, his eyes laced with concern as a soft sigh passes my lips in response before I nod gently. 

"Alright, I'll be on my way then." I speak before walking down the hall to my fathers office knocking on the cold wooden door twice with firmness before slowly entering. Making my way to one of the dull brown armchairs sat in front of his desk I bow my head lightly before meeting my fathers cold gaze. 

 "You're coming with me tonight to meet the eldest son of the Park family, since your mother insists that I respect your deplorable lifestyle the two of you are set to be married so we can gain the benefits of merging our families. I don't want to hear any objections from you, my decision is final unless you finally come to your senses and decide to marry a woman, understood?" The words my father speaks are laced with venom and disgust his stare firm as he waits for my response. 

"Yes Sir, I understand." I finally reply dully managing to keep my voice steady. 

"You are to go get ready now, we leave for their residence in an hour. And you had better look presentable, you are dismissed." My father finishes nodding his head towards the door and I get up bowing one final time before exiting his office and making my way back to my room with tears dotting the corners of my eyes. 

As I enter my bedroom Yunho is sat on my bed waiting for me with a sympathetic smile on his lips as he pulls me into his arms holding me close as I finally let out soft sobs against his chest. Yunho and I grew up together since his father was my mothers butler and while the younger was always meant to be my butler we are close friends and I confide in the younger often knowing I will always have his support. 

"I have to get ready to leave, father wants me to meet the person he has arranged for me to marry tonight." I finally manage to speak through my tears. 

"Is he marrying you off to a woman?" Yunho questions softly as he runs his fingers through my hair. 

"Fortunately no, it seems mom was able to convince him not too. Still though how do I even know if I'll like this guy, what if he's an absolute asshole? All I can really do now is hope i'll get lucky and the guy will at least be decent." I sit with Yunho for a few more minutes to calm down before the younger leaves so I can get dressed. I pull out a 'nice' and 'presentable' outfit from my wardrobe grimacing at the thought of having to wear something so far out of my comfort zone to meet some random guy.
