Hwanwoong's POV

Everyone has a soulmate, someone they're destine to be intertwined with in life. Not everyone however always has success with their soulmate, some may not even find their soulmate in their first lifetime. So maybe I am lucky to know who my soulmate is, to be so close to them on a regular biases but that hasn't stopped me from hiding my mark so the older can never find out.

My soulmate who has the the same mark as me but in a different spot on his body is none other than my close friend Kim Youngjo a male I've known since 1st year of high school as a now 2nd year in college. I found out Youngjo was my soulmate in my 1st year of high school due to his mark being in a more obvious spot on his left forearm but have never told the older about it opting instead to stay close friends my own mark hidden by my shirts and adamant refusal to change in front of others (on my stomach right above my left hip).

There was a time when I wanted to tell Youngjo but was simply to scared as we weren't very close yet however as we grew closer it turned into a different kind of fear. I learned early on that Youngjo is a major flirt regardless of having a soulmate link and has a more open mindset about the whole soulmate thing to begin with something that quickly made me fear losing the older or worse being rejected. Unfortunately not telling the older about our matching marks didn't stop me from developing feelings for the older something that I came to realize as my harsh reality by the time I was a 1st year in college.

"Hey Woong you okay? You've been zoned out for like 10 minutes now." Youngjo speaks up pulling my attention back to the older male who is sitting beside me on his living room couch.

"Yeah sorry got lost in my head for a minute there. I probably missed half of what you just said about the project sorry Youngjo." I reply rubbing my neck nervously as I apologize to my best friend who shakes his head at me and sighs with his usual stupid grin on his lips.

"You're fine Woong, maybe we should stop here for the night anyways. How about we just watch movies and chill for a few hours instead?" Youngjo suggests and for once I find myself compelled to agree with the older instead of arguing with him that we should focus on our assignment.
