Chapter 32

Finally! I freaking miss this place!

Kami kami lang yung tao dito, dahil na rin yung 2 days should be exclusive for St.Therese team.

Actually, nag invite rin pala si tita Ava ng ibang sponsors, mostly kakilala din ni daddy. So, basically yung board of directors ay nandito rin, some of the doctors of St. Therese ay sumama rin.

Our family went here para sumama sa outing nila pero dad made sure na it's our own expenses dahil hindi naman iyon dapat isama sa budget ng hospital.

Gusto ko naman mag enjoy talaga dito. The place is super nice, pero meron lang isang nagpasira ng araw ko. It's Dimitri Stanescu. That guy na panay nagpapapansin kay Adriana.

Hindi ako nagseselos okay? Naiinis lang ako kapag para siyang lintang nakakadikit. Feel ko naiinis na rin si Adriana dahil kanina pa ito wala sa mood.

"Mag freediving tayo later, babe. Did you bring your fins with you?" bulong sa akin ni Freya na mukhang excited ng tumalon sa tubig kanina pa.

I nodded.

There is a group of nurses consisting of two gentlemen and three ladies who have been gazing in our direction for quite some time now. Freya and I simply looked at them and exchanged awkward smiles. I noticed Adriana even rolled her eyes at them.

Eventually, they turned away and retrieved their belongings. I observed Dimitri following her. Seriously? He clings to her like a leech. It's annoying.

"Your death glare is so scary," Freya said, frowning and staring at me.

"I'm not glaring, babe," I replied, forcing a smile.

"Oh no!" (with a slight 'r' sound at the end). Yeah, she has this adorable Aussie accent that I really find cute.

"Let's go," I mimicked her Aussie accent and we laughed together.

I noticed that Kayla had been glancing at us, appearing moody since earlier. She simply scrolled through her phone while huffing and puffing. This girl is perpetually in a bad mood, almost like she's always on her period.

"Okay, just collect your respective keys from the reception, and then we'll have lunch before our scheduled activity," Tita Ava announced.

We retrieved our keys. Freya, Kayla, and I were assigned to the same room. However, it seemed like Kayla didn't want to be in our company, as she followed us with a scowl on her face. She didn't even engage in conversation with us, not even with Freya. Sometimes, her spoiled and snobby behavior gets on my nerves. It's really uncalled for!

We proceeded to our room. I don't understand why Dad insisted on us joining the hospital's anniversary bonding when it could have been just our family.

Freya and I were so pumped when we arrived at the fancy suite. This is indeed a kickass hotel suite! This place was all about class and sophistication, with an epic view of the sparkling sea that stretched as far as the eye could see.

As we stepped into the room, excitement rushed through us. The living area was decked out with stylish decor, oozing luxury vibes. Those plush sofas were just begging us to sink into their heavenly cushions. And the curtains? They were swaying gently, teasing us with promises of an awesome view.
