•°Corinne's POV°•
I could only stare at each of them, feeling guilty, we were in the field by the lake, the boys were curious about what we saw while we were floating up in the air.
"I can only remember parts, I thought I was dead." Beverly says, looking over at me. "Well that's how it felt anyway. We both saw all of us, back in the cistern, together." I add, playing with Ben's fingers as the images flash through my mind once again.
"But we were older, like our parents ages." Beverly spoke up again, having everyone's attention on us, listening to every word we had to say.
"W-what were we all doing there?" Bill asks curiously.
"I just remember how we felt. How scared we were, I don't think I can ever forget that." Beverly says nervously, only staring at the ground, I knew exactly how she felt, a sudden silence fell over all of us. I laid my head on Ben's shoulder as they took in the information.
Bill grabs a shred of glass, standing up, his face telling me he has come to a decision.
"Swear it. S-swear if it isn't dead, if it ever comes back, we'll come back, too." Bill states with determination. We all looked at each other uncertain of what to do.
Beverly got up first, Richie following her lead, it made the rest of us get up too.
Bill cut into his hand first, just by his expression I could tell it was gonna hurt. Richie winces slightly as the cut was made. Eddie looked away, probably thinking it would hurt less if he did.
Mike's was a quick cut, but I could still see him wincing. Stanley had a clear painful look on his face. Ben only had a slight pull of his face, clearly showing that it hurt.
I held my hand out, my eyes closing on their own, when I felt the glass cutting through my skin, it was obviously going to leave a scar. Beverly was the only one who didn't show any reaction.
Bill stood where he was seated, we joined hands completing the promise that we would be back if it comes back.
"I gotta go." Stanley says, he looks at Bill. "I hate you." He tells the Denbrough boy, the two staring at each other, before they started laughing.
"I'll see you later." Stanley says, walking away. I knew it was time for me to go as well, even if I didn't want too.
"I have to go too, my mom's waiting for me." I spoke up. I gave everyone a hug leaving Ben for last, I tried my best to keep the tears in. "Do you want me to walk with you?" He asks, I only shook my head, smiling at him. "No, I'll be okay." I promised him.
I pulled him into a hug, I didn't want to let go, but I had too, pulling away I gave him a kiss, hearing a bunch of protests, I only ignored it.
As I walked away, not looking back once, my tears falling like a waterfall down my face, I choose to leave without telling anybody, but it made me leave my heart behind too.
