🎈CHAPTER 24🎈

•°Corinne's POV°•

Being back here, it didn't feel right and somehow it felt right, I could not wrap my head around the things that I suddenly seem to remember about this place and the people who had a huge impact in my life, now i was going to see them again, after just disappearing out of their lives, to say I was scared was an understatement.

I got out the car, but still not making any further movement, staring at the restaurant from where I was standing, I didn't even realize, another car has stop next to me, until the person spoke up.

"Well, well look who it is." Someone says, I slowly turned to see a man with glasses, it could only be one person.

"Richie?" I asked, just to make sure I was correct.

"The one and only. Oh my god look at you, your gorgeous." He says pulling me into a hug, and I returned it without hesitation. "How have you been?" Richie asks, pulling away.

"I'm fine, busy, but that's life hey, and you?" I say with a tiny smile.

"I've been good. Shall we get going?" He asks, pointing at the restaurant, with a nod of my head we made our way to the entrance, only to stop, because of two people hugging Infront of the door.

"Wow. You two look amazing. What the fuck happened to me?" Richie asks, grabbing their attention. The woman could only be one person, Beverly Marsh, the girl who was my best friend. "What's going on, man?" Richie asks, stepping forward giving the guy a hug, the two still haven't noticed me, at all.

"Hey, man."

"It's Richie. Hi."

"Yeah. It's Ben." The guy says, just those few words leaving his mouth had me frozen in my spot, it couldn't be was all I could tell myself, and yet here he was right infront of me, I couldn't help but stare.

Bev and Richie hugged each other as well.

"Hi."

"Hey."

"You guys won't believe who I found." Richie says, when their greetings were over, pointing towards me, but I was still only looking at Ben. The two turned to look at me.

"Corinne?" Beverly ask, stepping closer to me, my wordsgot stuck in my throat, so i could only nod my head, i was unexpectedly pulled into a hug. "I'm so glad to see your okay." She whispers in my hair, pulling away, Ben was already there, we stared at each other, he grabbed my arms pulling me closer to him, snaking his hands around my waist, holding onto me tightky, as if i might disappear again.

Richie rings the gong when we entered the place were everyone would meet up to grab the other three who was already there's attention.

"This meeting of the Loser's Club has officially begun." Richie says.

"Look at these guys." A guy says, who could only be Eddie, and next to him was Bill and Mike. Richie points at Ben, mouthing to the others, before showing a big person with his arms, having the others smile. Ben turned to look at him, but Richie acted like he didn't do anything.

And so the night began, our table was full of food and drinks, it was full of cheers and laughter, and we slowly caught up with each others lives.

Richie took a shot, letting the glass fall out of his mouth, his attention on Eddie immediately. "So, wait, Eddie, you got married?" Richie asks, laughing.

"Yeah, why's that so fucking funny, dickwad?" Eddie shots a question back.

"What? To, like, a woman?" Richie questions.

"Fuck you, bro." Eddie tells him, it only made Richie laugh, and then yell, "Fuck you!"

"All right. What about you, Trashmouth? You married?" Bill asks Richie, who was interested in everyone's married lives. "There's no way Richie's married." Beverly points out.

"Yeah, no woman will be able to handle that strong personality of his." I add, taking another shot of whiskey.

"No, I got married." Richie states, Bev only shook her head, saying, "Richie, i don't believe it."

"When?" Eddie asks.

"Did you not hear this?" Richie asks, from where I was sitting, I had a clear view of Ben, and his smiling face, it had me smiling too, and enjoying the night as much as i could.

"No."

"You didn't know I got married?" Richie questions Eddie once again.

"No."

"Yeah, no. Me and your mom are very, very happy right now." Richie says to him, I covered my face with both hands, because i was laughing so hard, that i started crying. "Yeah, very happy." Beverly says laughing.

"He totally fell for it!" Bill states, after he almost choked on his drink.

"Fuck you." Eddie says, in a very unhappy tone.

"She's very sweet. Sometimes, she'll put her arm around me, and she'll whisper to me, she'll go..." Richie says, as he starts talking some weird language, probably alien or a language I've never heard, but it had the entire table in a fit of laughter.

"We all get it. My mom was a great, big, fat, person." Eddie says.

"Shh."

"Hilarious. Hysterical." Eddie pushed out being a little extra, having us in a fit of laughter once again.

"Wait, let's talk about the elephant not in the room... Ben. What the fuck man?" Richie asks, pointing at him, my attention completely on the man. "Okay, okay. Obviously I lost a few pounds." Ben says, like it was no big deal, but of course it was to the others. "Lost a few pounds?" Richie questions, and I couldn't help but smile at him from across the table. "Yeah, no shit you lost a few pounds." Eddie says, pointing towards his body.

"You're like... You're hot."

"That's true."

"No, you're like every Brazilian soccer player wrapped up into one person. Gorgeous." Richie tells him, Ben was looking quiet embarrassed with all their attention on him.

"Guys, your embarrassing him, just leave him alone." I spoke up, even Ben tried direction their attention when he asked, "Okay, okay, all right. Please, come on. Is Stanley coming or what?" His question had the table quieting down, as memories of Stanley appeared suddenly.

"Someone save me."

"Stan." Eddie mutters looking at the empty chair next to him, and slowly everyone else, seemed to remember as well, muttering his name under their breaths, except for Mike.

"Stanley Urine. No, no, he's a fucking pussy. He's not gonna show." Richie says, having me quickly stare at him, i cant believe he would say something like that. "Why would Stanley save you, anyway was I not the one who basically performed surgery on you after Bowers cut you up?" Eddie asks Ben, looking him straight in the eyes.

"Yes!"

"Holy shit! That's right." Eddie says.

"Please tell me you ended up becoming a doctor, Eds." Beverly says.

"No, I ended up becoming a risk analyst." Eddie admits, I was a little disappointed, but if he found something he was even better at, who am I to judge. "Oh, that sounds interesting. What does that entail?" Richie asks very curious. "Yeah, so I work for a big insurance firm and..." Eddie was busy telling him, when Richie started snoring, like he was bored already, I just couldn't help, but laugh, as the rest was also laughing at the two.

"Fuck you, dude. Fuck you." Eddie says to Richie.

"Was this job invented before fun?" Richie questions.

"That's so not funny."

"It is funny."

"What the fuck are you laughing at?" Eddie asks Ben, when he saw him smiling. Bev held up hear beer, and said, "i propose a toast to the Losers." We held up our drinks clinging it against each other in celebration.
