🎈CHAPTER 28🎈

•°Corinne's POV°•

Mike took us all  all over town, and the places we use to hang out, right now he was taking us to the clubhouse, where we went right after the rock war we had with Bowers.

"The barrens." Beverly states.

"This is where we came, after the rock fight." Ben says with a smile.

"The clubhouse." Richie says in realization.

"You built that for us." Beverly says to Ben who was smiling brightly. I was glad to see such a happy expression on his face, it did suit him best. "Yeah, the hatch has got to be around here someplace." Richie says, Ben walked a bit further, as we all followed behind him. "You did. I do remember that!" Eddie says.

I stayed close to Ben, it was probably wrong, but I felt safe, as i kept close to him. "You know what? I actually think the door was morze like around..." Ben says, stomping the ground, making him fall straight in, I hurriedly walked closer. "Are you okay?" I asked looking down.

"Found it. I'm okay!" He yells. I sighed out in relief,  glad he didn't get hurt in any sort of way.

"Come down."

I was busy climbing down when I felt hands on my waist, holding me steady so i wont fall down, getting down on the ground, i gave ben a sweet smile, seeing his cheeks flare bright red, made my smile grew even bigger. One by one the others started climbing down as well.

"What the dick is this? How'd you build it?" Richie asks, as he got down.

"When did you build it?" Bill asks.

"Here and there, I guess. It was already dug out from something, so I just had to reinforce the walls and get some wood for the roof door, and that's pretty much it." Ben explains, leaving me impressed, he was pretty good with his hands, to do this all by himself. "Pretty good for my first time, huh?" Ben said, proud of his work, putting his hand on one of the pillars, it did end up making part of the roof fall in, but it made me giggle.

"Now, that's a cool feature. What happens when you put your hand on the other pillar, professor?" Richie asks sarcastically, and knowing after Richie, Eddie would start talking as well, it wasn't even a few seconds when his voice spoke up from behind me. "Okay, you see, this is exactly why there are safety codes,  why we have permits. This place is a death trap. You understand that?"

"Well, it's a work in progress. Okay, Eddie?" Ben says, but Eddie didn't seem to listen very well as he just kept on talking. "Just so you know, I get hurt, you are liable, and also, what is this? The switch of an iron maiden?" Eddie questions pointing at a flashlight.

"That's a flashlight, dumbass." I pointed out, Ben smiled at me in appreciation.

"What is that, a horse hitch?" Eddie questions, pointing at something else a bit further in, walking towards it. "When do you have horses down..." He trailed off as something else caught his attention, he picked up a paddle ball, the one I brought for Ben. "Oh, this is cool."

"That was like, three dollars, so be careful with that, please." Ben says, gazing at me, before looking at Eddie again, but the Kaspbrak boy just started hitting the ball in Stanley's face. "I have one of these. Hey, Stan, you see this?" He asks, as Stanley tried not getting hit in the face.

"Yeah, okay can you maybe not?" Stanley asks, but of course Eddie had an annoying personality so he just hit the ball harder. "Maybe not what? Yeah, yeah, hold on. Maybe not what? Ben awesome and have fun and celebrate the magic of the paddle ball?" Eddie asks. The paddle ball flew out of Eddie's hand, going past Stanley's face, falling to the ground, making the ball break off the paddle.
