Chap4 - Shizue Izawa

Shizue POV

"YOU! If you hadn't just poked your sword into that nest we wouldn't have been in this situation! I swear, if I die then I'll haunt you for the rest of your life!"

"HAHA! Well unfortunately, that won't happen! Because I'm going to die along with you!"

I was running away from giant ants with a trio of idiots since someone just had to poke into an ant nest. And here I was, just looking for a small adventure since I know very well I don't have much time left.

I swiftly turned around and coated my sword with flames and jumped at an ant, stabbing my sword into their head.

"SHIZU-SAN?!" Eren yelled as she realized I was fighting back

I was trying to control Ifrit with the best of my abilities as I tried to fight back the ants but unfortunately it was getting too hard to resist.

Until...

SLASH!

The ants got cut into two in a matter of just seconds and continued to decay into dust. A little girl with blue hair that slightly reached under her shoulders and dazzling golden eyes appeared. She landed on the ground and seemed to pick up my mask that I didn't even realize I lost, she approached me with a smile and put it in my hand

"Here you go, Miss!." She patted her hands with a toothy smile

"O-Oh, thank you." I slightly bowed

"No problem! What are you guys doing here in the forest?" She asked

"We're here to investigate the disappearance of the Storm Dragon Veldora." Kaval answered

"Hmm... Would you like to come to my town? We can give you food and stuff!" She offered with an innocent smile

"You got a town? Sure! We'll come." Eren accepted while the rest of us nodded

We continued to follow the little girl through the forest.

Rimuru POV

I lead them to my town and immediately called to Rigurd "Rigurd, go prepare some food for our guests!"

"Hai, Rimuru-sama!" He then waltzed off to a small hut

I turned to the guests "Ah right, introductions! I'm Rimuru and I own this village."

"I'm Eren!"

"Kaval, the leader of this party."

"The name's Gido."

"Shizu."

I can tell from when I looked at Shizu without her mask that she was most definitely japanese, her looks made it obvious, I guess. I'll have to speak to her soon.

"You said you own this village, Rimuru-chan?" Eren asked

"Yup!" I nodded enthusiasticly

"How old are you then?" She asked

I flinched "Ehhh... Eheheh... Let's go check up on the food!" I tried dodging the question but I felt a heavy force grab my shoulder so I slowly turned my head around to see Eren having a smile that didn't reach her eyes

"I'd appreciate if you wouldn't try and ditch the question." She said in a cold tone

"HIIEEEKK! I'm s-sorry! I'm only a few weeks old!" I answered without thinking
