"So, you didn't go to school today?", asked Wakko once they exited the lot. "Yeah, because of the neck", said y/n. "Well at least you have more time now, right?".  "Yeah", she said, "So where are we going now?". "To the court". "To where?".

At that she couldn't help but giggle. "Am I to blame for something?", she asked jokingly. "No...?". The way he said it made her look at him. Sure enough, his cheecks were light pink. For a while, they just stared like that at eachother. Then she looked down, her heart pounding in embarresment.

"Come on", he said as they kept walking. They came to a brown door of the court and stopped. "How are we going to get in?", asked y/n. "I want to ask something there", said Wakko. She sighed, "Ok. Since people consider me your babysitter, I go first and you go behind me". Wakko accepted it immediately and took her hand.

Y/n turned the doorknob and slowly opened the door. There was a random judging going on, so they waited. As soon as it was done, she went in, holding his hand, and stepped in front of an older woman standing behind the witness' place. "Exuse me, hello", said y/n as she stood there, "Here I have a boy to babysit and he wants to ask you something". And with that, she let go of his hand.

Wakko stepped forward while she stayed behind him and hid his hands behind his back. "Do you swear?", he asked the woman. "Yeah, why?", she asked, not interested. He spread his arms on each side, "Well, you shouldn't. It's not nice". Y/n couldn't help but at least smile at that. Her smile had to drop though once he turned around. She knew how painful it was for her to see him blush.

"Ok, thank you, goodbye!", she said as she walked out, him following her. As soon as she closed the door of the building, y/n took off running. Wakko bolted after her using toonspeed and catching up with her, yanked her hand. She immediately struggled to break free and snapped around to face him. His expression was that one of a disappointed and confused child. While her heart was racing a mile per minute from running and she felt something she was afraid she'd ever feel towards him. Anger.

"You...you're such a pain", she said with uneasiness. "Why?", he smiled. No. That couldn't be. Well it could but...what did that smile even mean? "Because...", she started. How could she tell him why without revealing the secret? Well, nothing even happened anyway. She sighed, "Never mind. I overreacted, I'm sorry". "It's alright", he said, still smiling, "I have a surprise for you".

Y/n frowned.  She somehow already knew he was up to making her even angrier and more frustrated. "Is it good or bad?", she asked. "Depends on how you handle it", he answered. Wow, how smart of him. She knew that way too well she didn't have to be told twice. But it annoyed her so much all she wanted to do at that moment was to go home. That was what she wanted. She couldn't do it.

"Well, are we going?", asked Wakko. She stared at him like he was forcing her to go. In some way he was. In another, this was kind of a "sightseeing tour" and they were already friends, so she didn't want to leave him. "Do whatever, I'll just follow", she said in the end. Wrong. They got back to the lot and came to a small house. At first she tought it was something exciting. Until Wakko took her hand.

"Be careful of how you react to this", he said. Oh no. This was one of those times when someone knew she didn't like something but still wanted to show it to her. Wakko slowly opened the door, revealing...a classroom. "At least it's empty-". "What are you waiting for then?!", he whisper-shouted, pressing his hand on her back. Y/n looked at him, "You...want me to go in?". He nodded, grinning.

She slowly walked in, him following and closing the door. She glanced around the room before going over to one of the desks and sitting down. "Hey, you sat on my place", he said, trying not to chuckle. "Well you stand there, ok?", she said, sounding serious. "Whatever you say", he smiled again. "Now take a chalk", she kept giving him orders, "And write what I tell you. And don't comment until I stop".

Wakko obeyed everything she said and once he took the chalk, turned to her, "I'm ready". Y/n took a deep breath and started, "School. Tired. Pain. Tears. Fear. Wounds. Regret", she spoke word after word as he wrote them on the board. "Is that enough?", she asked at the end. He came to her desk and kind of slammed his palms on it, "More than enough".

Another shiver ran trough her. She was face to face with him at that moment. "Stop", she said, "You're making me regret everything I tell you". "Are you tired?". "Yes". "Hurt?". "Yes". "Do you feel like crying right now?". "No". "Scared?". "No". "There we go. Half of it answered no. You're a fighter".

"Me? A fighter?", she asked, feeling annoyed, "Pff, no. Why are you-". But at that moment, he got dangerously close to her so she screamed and pushed him away. "See?", he asked, still smiling. "What?", she counter questioned, "The only thing I see here is that I actually am scared. Of myself".
