I smirk when my eyes scan my outfit in my mirror, a black corset suit, pushing my tits up just the right amount.

I pull on a leather jacket once belonging to Dad to hide the flower tattoo on my arm.

I don't think people study my little art pieces on my victims too hard, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

I let my black hair fall loose down my back before sliding into my heels and walking out of my room and downstairs.

I hear speaking from outside and quickly walk to the garage where the gang already is. Ari hurriedly drops his cigarette from his lips and squashes it under his shoe. I chuckle as I see all the men in black jeans with their distinctive leather jackets, the twins leaving theirs unzipped.

Ari enters the drivers door and Gabriel sits in the passenger side, leaving me squashed between the twins.

The smoke from their breath makes me gag, and Everett laughs at me. "Considering you spend so much time with us it's surprising that you're still not used to cigarette smoke by now," he teases, covering his mouth as he speaks.

"I am used to it, I just haven't been here in a while," I defend myself, glaring at Griffon as he laughs at me too. I roll my eyes and stare straight ahead, listening to the friendly bickering of the twins, Ari and Gabriel in their own conversation.

The drive to the auction is short, being held in the main building of the land being sold. Ari parks in the parking lot and we all get out of the crowded car, adjusting our jackets before walking towards the main entrance.

I cover my smirk with my hand as the guards at the door visibly stiffen upon seeing the sight before them.

"It's been a while since we've been out together," Gabriel observes, and the twins snicker as the guards immediately move out of our way.

Everyone's scared of us and it's fucking amazing.

We follow the sound of chatter from a large room, a room which use to be used for balls, now being used for the auction.

The guards open the doors for us and all eyes fall to us as we walk in. Ari moves closer to me and I link my arm through his as he enter deeper into the room. The twins go off to the bar and Gabriel walks over to the owner, leaving Ari and I to navigate this scene alone.

"No one seems happy to see us," Ari mutters, glaring at everyone as they slowly return to their previous conversations. I chuckle and adjust my suit again, an action not missed by Ari. "Putting on your business face I see," he observes quietly.

"Always," I mutter back as we sit down at a spare table. I cross my right leg over the other and observe the room, my gaze falling on the familiar face of a smiling woman.

Adelyn De Santis.

Ari nudges me and gestures to the table two away from us, "There they are," he says quietly. I look at the table and see a small card with fine printing on it, reading 'De Santis'.
