My eyes blink open as I hear a pained groan beside me, my body fully waking as I remember the events of last night.

"Ana what's wrong?" I immediately ask, carefully sitting up as she rolls onto her side.

"I'm just stiff, I'm fine," she says in a hoarse voice.

"Do you want me to go get Issy?" I ask nervously. Why am I so nervous? Maybe because one of the only people in your life who you actually care about is in pain?

"It's not that deep, I'll be fine by tomorrow," she chuckles, "No reason to worry,"

"You were stabbed, of course I'm worried," I say gruffly, running my fingers through her knotted hair.

I can't help but smile as the corners of her lips tilt upwards, the cutest fucking smile covering her face.

"That's sweet," she yawns, draping an arm over my hips, "But I'll be fine,"

"You better be," I frown, watching as her cheeks blush a light pink. "And we have to get up soon sweetheart, we're flying back to Italy in a few hours,"

"Be a doll and pack for me," she yawns again,

"Be a doll?" I repeat, slightly amused at this new persona.

She hums lazily, her finger tracing lines up and down my side, her touch spreading fire as she goes.

"I'll pack for you sweetheart," I murmur, leaning down to kiss her temple, "But only because you're injured," I add.

"I think we both know that's not true," she grins, opening an eye to look at me, her lips a wicked smile.

I narrow my eyes at her and lightly flick her ear, hating that she's right. I'm more whipped by the fucking minute it seems.

"Go back to sleep sweetheart, I'll wake you up when we're leaving," I murmur, kissing her temple as she hums in response.

I carefully remove her arm from my hip and get out of bed, tucking her in again before walking to her suitcase. I start folding all the clothes strewn around on the ground and packing them, glad that none of us properly unpacked when we got here.

I'm soon done and I zip up the suitcase, standing it up and rolling it to the end of the bed. I look over to see Ana peacefully sleeping, a calm smile on her face as the duvet engulfs her.

I look to the door as a soft knock echoes into the room, standing up straight as Issy's face appears. Her eyebrows raise as she sees me but she doesn't say anything, instead closing the door behind her and walking up to the bed.

Before I can tell her to let Ana sleep she taps on her shoulder, pulling the duvet back as Ana yawns and opens her eyes.

"I'm sorry for waking you hun, I just wanted to check on you before we leave," Issy croons, opening her First Aid kit.

"Don't worry about," Ana yawns, "I was already awake," she lies, sitting up in her as she lets my cousin fuss over her.

"Enzo helping you pack?" Issy muses, and I watch as Ana blushes. "He's just so helpful you know," she mumbles, narrowing her eyes at me as I stifle a laugh.

Issy hums in response but doesn't say any more on the matter, instead rewrapping Ana's wound. Once she's done she stands up, packs up her kit and politely says goodbye to the both of us before leaving the room.

"She's not stupid Enzo," Ana says bluntly, looking at me intently.

"I'm well aware of that," I reply,

"Enzo-" she begins, but I cut her off with my hand.

"I know what you mean, we'll deal with it once we're back in Italy and Leonardo is dead," I say, not sure if I can handle my family's fussing and excitement if we told them about Ana and I.
