The flight attendant opens the doors, revealing the ramp already set up. To my surprise, none of the guards dip their heads when I walk past.

"What, did you bribe them or something?" Alessio mutters to me.

"No," I murmur, an uneasy feeling settling in my stomach.

I clear my throat and reach for my gun, looking around to see an abnormal amount of guards surrounding the runway of the airport.

"Somethings wrong," I say under my breath, looking back to see Dad frowning.

He gives me a small nod and says something to Ari who nods.

"Ambush!" Alessio shouts, raising his gun and shooting a man who's gun was raised to me.

Suddenly, all hell breaks loose, the men acting as our guards turning fire on us.

"Get Lea to the car," I shout, watching as Aunt Val immediately pulls her gun out and runs towards a car, both girls on her tail.

I raise my gun and shoot one of men approaching us, looking around to see the twins back to back and firing at any man which approaches them.

"Look around you for a second," Anastasia suddenly grits out, shoving me out of the way and shooting a man before he could shoot me.

"Thanks," I mutter, running down the ramp and killing 3 men as they make a run at me.

"Everyone get to the cars," I shout, turning around and slamming my fist into the face of a man who got too close, shooting him in the head as he staggers to the ground.

"Ana look out," I yell, pulling her down as a bullet goes flying over her head.

"We're even now," she laughs, raising her gun once more and shooting 4 times, killing each man surrounding one of the cars.

"Fuck," she hisses, running over to the car the girls are in as men start firing at the tires.

I let her deal with it as I continue firing my gun at the unfamiliar men, trying to clear a path to the cars as they seem to just keep coming.

"Who the fuck sent them?" Alessio hisses, joining me as I slam my fist into the face of another man.

"I assume Leonardo," I reply, hitting another man with the butt of my gun.

"We have back up coming," Dad pants, running up to me.

"Thank fuck," I mutter, relief washing over me as I see my guards coming from inside the airport to where we are at the runway.

"Split up, try to make it to the cars," Dad says, turning and leaving in the direction of one of our cars.

I can't help but laugh as I look over at Le Aquile Rosse, back to back as they bully their way through the men.

Each with a smile on his face, either with a gun or their bare hands as they leave a trail of dead men in the wake.

I make eye contact with Everett and he suddenly starts sprinting over to me, yelling something I can't hear over the bullets before he pushes me to the ground.

His gun goes off once and my eyes widen as he falls to his knees, clutching his stomach as profanities spill form his lips.

"Learn to be aware of your surroundings you moron," he chuckles, his voice tight as I see blood rapidly spilling from his stomach.

"Fratello," Griffon gasps, his eyes widening with fear as he runs over to us.

"Ev, what happened?" he asks in a panicked voice, removing his brothers hand from his stomach to reveal a bullet wound.
