𝘚𝘶𝘨𝘢𝘳, 𝘚𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘕𝘪𝘤𝘦.

"Woahh you bought me all these grapes Akemi?"

"Mhm I hope you like them Sugar."

"What are these though?"

"Those are Taffy Grapes and the other ones I got you are Moon Grapes."

Her eyes lit up in joy and I couldn't help but smile at this.

"Ohh I wanna try these first."

Her hands reached out for the taffy grapes and she placed one into her mouth.

"Ohh this is good."

She began munching on them one by one before moving to the moon grapes.

"Ohh these are so sweet."

"Thank you Akemi."

Her eyes lit up in happiness as she began to tackle the bag of grapes.

"Akemi."

After she ate a few more grapes she looked up at me.

"Hmm?"

"Why didn't you stay with us at the masquerade?"

Her eyes brimmed with genuine curiosity.

"Oh I had to go handle some things."

"With the man in the hat?"

"Mhm."

I briefly nodded and made myself comfortable on her carpet.

She came over to me and laid her head in my lap.

"Doffy seemed really angry after you left."

"Oh did he now?"

My fingers gently caressed her hair as she looked up at me.

"Mhm he was being really mean to Esta."

"Is that right...?"

She let out a yawn and stretched in my lap.

"Yeah I was pretty tired of her anyway she was pretty stuck up."

I rolled my eyes remembering the grocery store incident.

"Tell me about it."

"Huh? Has she been mean to you too Akemi?"

"Yes but if she does it again I'll knock her into next week."

She giggled innocently as I poked her cheek.

"I really like you Akemi..."

"Doffy...does...too..."

And with that she fell asleep on my lap.

I smiled down at her before picking her up gently.

"How cute."
