┆--Y/N POV--┆

Midoriya swerved on the edge of his shoe, flashing a paranoid glance at every unobstructed view in his anxious peripheral. It had been three days since your little incident at the hospital, and school was back in session after their short 'break'. He let out a relieved sigh that even you could hear from above the discreet ceiling covers.

He took a long upward scan of the towering door, with the words '1-A' engraved vertically upon it. Midoriya slid the door open and stepped into the conversational atmosphere with one final glance over his shoulder.

It's working. You smiled silently in delight behind your thick welding visor. Your eyes hovered just a few hairs over the newly made inch-wide slit that kept the ceiling tiles separated from each other. It provided a squint-worthy sky view of the noisy classroom that was oblivious to your presence, to all but one green-haired boy at least. But that was for his rising paranoia to decide if the subject was worth dreading.

"𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒃𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒅, 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒆𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒎 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒊𝒏 𝑷𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒎 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒆."

"His teacher" Gaze hardening, strong verbal emphasis on teacher, "─has no feasible way of knowing I'm even near the school. Let alone inside it."

"𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒆𝒕 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅, 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏 𝒂 𝒉𝒊𝒈𝒉-𝒄𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔 𝒔𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝒂 𝒗𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏. 𝑾𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒉 𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒃𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒚 𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒐𝒏 𝒉𝒊𝒈𝒉 𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒓𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒂𝒙𝒊𝒎𝒖𝒎 𝒔𝒆𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚."

Apathy crossed your face at that statement, "Thanks for the factoid, although... it makes it all the more pitiful how I'm actively within its walls."

"Not that standing here is fully devoid of being unenjoyable..." A frown creased your lips, the mutter was cold as you could hear the tired monotone of the teacher far below you. His drawling words sliced through the chatter of every zany individual child sitting in factory rows below you. Even the ones you failed to kill properly.

You scanned the crowd, heedlessly noting the clumps of overhead hair that weren't exactly the easiest thing to read psychologically, apart from their voices at least. Furthermore on that; they were annoying. Loud. Bubbly. Energetic. Goody Two Shoes bullshit. Traits you weren't known to be keen towards, not that you were a grouch or anybody even knew... it was just the truth. And you had gathered all this in the span of three minutes tops.
