┆--Midoriya POV--┆

You trespassed on UA grounds, Assaulted a student from 1-B, Stalked him for what he mentally dreaded was the entire school day, and for what? To tell him to go somewhere!?

Three days prior you had gone out of your way to physically notify him to pretend you had never met. To pretend like nothing ever happened between you two would require distance! If you worked for the League why did you announce yourself during his social separation? You weren't making an effort to interrogate him for information and you clearly only had an interest in keeping your own identity under wraps.

The high schooler sighed wearily and held onto the straps of his backpack. His legs moved on autopilot, the distant sound of lapping waves for once provided only anxiety, as its scheduled lurker was prowling nearby.

He trekked lethargically over a hill with an overlooking view of the shore and its boundless ocean. His labor ahead presented in the form of a gorgeous shoreline devoid of garbage and litter.

"What if I didn't show up?" Midoriya thought aloud. The idea prompted a shutter while he slid down the sandy hill, his shoes turned at a slowing angle. There were still precautions that he took into careful consideration. You were still a villain, an armed one at that. Teenager or not, he needed to accept that you were a threat.

"It wouldn't really change anything." You announced yourself, making him stiffen as you rose from the sand into a casual hover. "Aaaand, I kinda sorta already know where you live. It's like a meeting, only everyone shows up wherever you're at no matter what."

He jumped back, the shot of adrenaline threatened to shift his pose into a battle-ready stance. You're floating... I couldn't defend against your ghost power even if I wanted to. He reminded himself. The dangers of your quirk made the possibility of counter-action all the more fruitless.

Midoriya stared you down. His hands curled into fists with a hardening straight-to-the-point expression. Swallowing his anxiety, he spoke while eyeing your holsters. "Alright, I'm here just like you requested. But. How can I ignore you if you keep showing up."

You pressed your palms together under your chin, as if in a prayer. Your mouth formed a line alongside dramatic silence. "Good question, boy. Good question. Anyway, this whole thing isn't working."

The teen cocked a well-maintained eyebrow. Hope laced in his gaze. "So you'll leave?"

You chucked coyly for a few drawn-out seconds. The amusement was evident even behind your face mask. "No."
