"Beep! Beep! Beep!"

"Ughh... I thought I set it to vibrate, not... not alarm mode..." Izuku rasped groggily with a husky voice and scratchy throat, looking through the left window adjacent to his bed, he tried to make sense of why it was still dark out.

"There is no alarm, only Torino"

Izukus eyes shot open and he sprang up from his covers to see Toring standing eerily past the edge of his bed in the shadows."Gran Torino!? Y-You said I should get a full night's rest!"

He shrugged absentmindedly as if this was a common thing "Lesson Five kiddo, Villains don't care about your sleep schedule, that's why it's important to adapt on how many hours you can run on during an emergency!"

"I guess that makes sense..." The boy rubbed his eyes in a dazed fashion, his senses kickstarted by the scare but still hazy. The sudden thump of something landing on his bed alerted him.

"Now get your costume on, we've been called on by the chief of police for some late-night patrols in Hosu. Nothing serious, but important nonetheless, from what I've been told at least". The old man instructed while turning the room lights on with a click before exiting the room and closing the old door.

The chief of police... at this hour too? Must be important...

He sighed and raked a hand through his unruly mess of green curls, he only managed to get two hours of sleep. Hell... probably less than that, he'd be grateful if Torino was kind enough to let him sleep in to regain some hours. Maybe.

He huffed confidently and shook his senses farther awake before hopping off the bed, chills rippled through his goosebumps from the cold wooden floor. He then swiped his phone from the bed stand near the window and noticed a message still unread on the lock screen.

In fact- it was sent just six minutes ago. He raised a brow, it was from you. And knowing you- well as much as he knew, you usually show up in person.
