--Aizawa POV--

... "It's for the salvation of humanity!" ...

Aizawa groaned and cracked an eye open, feeling the effects of the anesthesia dissipating from his system provided some movement. His body felt heavy as if a weight was pressing him into the surgical bed while his limbs were numb and lay uselessly at his side.

"Come on, wake up, stupid!" a voice snapped above him. The tone was panicked but filled with that irritating taste of familiarity he couldn't quite place through the fog. "Out of all the times you could finally decide to be useless around me, you pick now!?"

The words pulled him closer to clarity, and the underground hero's half gaze began to widen past a squint, his fuzzy unfocused vision strained as the harsh dome lights overhead pierced his senses. The speaker's silhouette wavered above him as the details began to fill in.

"Oh, you're awake!" the voice chirped, but the cheer was undermined by the unconvincing grin that followed. It was quickly replaced by a hardened frown and furrowed eyebrows, the shift was almost comical, "I mean... Ignore that. You still suck,"

"You're... you're here?" Aizawa managed to rasp out. It was more of a statement than a question. The confusion clouding his fuzzy brain muddled his usually sharp instincts.

But there was no mistaking it... it was you. Pale as snow, standing in this jailing dome where his dissection had begun. MY EYE... His memory snapped back with chilling clearness. The cables. The table. The impossible strength. Her Eldrich hand...

"My eye..."

His mind began spinning, scrambling to remember where he was, and what was going on. This freight train had to be one of the most chilling in awhile, because this time, the only horror scene he's walking into is his own. His hand jerked against the restraints, instinctively reaching for his face. He tried to close his right eye, there was no sensation, no response. He blinked his left eye closed, and all he saw was darkness.

She stole my eye...

"Yes! You're missing an eye!" You snapped, your voice a mix of impatience and panic. You looked like you wanted to strangle him. "Be faster! Process it! You're down an eye, genius!"

Aizawa exhaled sharply, frustration and dread bubbling within him. "Why are you here? I mean... I know why but, how?"

"Ah-ah! NOPE!" You pointed at him with radiating intensity. Your fingers flew up to gesture a zipping motion above your lips, "Question number one: WHY are you here?" You jabbed the air. "Question number two: Do you happen to have a giant, three-eyed secret love child somewhere out there with the same quirk as you?!"
