Returning back to school after his eventful time being suspended really was a breath of fresh air for Park Jimin. His father, much to his annoyance, hovered over him like a fly most of the time. He wanted to make sure his son was okay but most importantly, the single father got anxious being away from his only child for too long. Jimin doesn't really get it, but it was because his dad blames himself for the incident Jimin experienced.

Being back in school never felt so...relieving. Jimin thought that he'd dread it again just like he usually did, yet he found himself having a really peaceful week. Most of the students forgot about the whole ordeal with Yoongi (Jimin, of course did not) and the gossip train was on to something new. Specifically, senior things like prom and graduation, both of which Jimin does not care about.

But besides the basic academic things, Jimin has also been catching up with his friends. Seokjin and Jeongguk had apologized once again for the incident, in which Jimin literally begged them not to bring up again. He doesn't blame them at all. He can only blame the perpetrator and himself.

But anyway, he learned that Jeongguk went on a date with Taehyung. It was their first official date as a new couple. Some students gossiped because they're both alphas, but as long as they're happy, nothing matters.

Jimin also learned that Namjoon had officially joined Yoongi's pack and had placed down a deposit for housing on the pack lands. Namjoon and Seokjin plan on moving there together once they graduate, and Seokjin will attend community college while Namjoon finds a nice paying pack job.

Hoseok, though Jimin rarely talks to him, has mentioned briefly about also moving to the pack. Jeongguk had expressed that he be careful about it, seeing as there are quite a few unmated alphas in the pack. Though he was only relaying the information told to him before he presented. Hoseok is more than capable of handling himself.

And Yoongi...Jimin hasn't really talked with him. Well, he hasn't talked with him one on one since the incident. Since they fell asleep in each other's arms that night after talking with the police. But what exactly is there to say? Jimin doesn't know how to lead a conversation as needed as the one they need to have.

It has been confirmed that Yoongi likes him. And Jimin has yet to tell Yoongi that he feels the same. Because the whole situation with Yoongi's ex rubs Jimin the wrong way, and he'd feel dumb and desperate if he were to suddenly confess to Yoongi even after the bullshit he went through. It just doesn't seem right. He needs some sort of understanding. Some type of closure.

It was literally less than four weeks ago that Yoongi slept with his ex. Thoughts like these leave Jimin feeling icky. And though Yoongi has kept his word and cut ties with his ex girlfriend, Jimin still can't just forget. He can't forget the anger and embarrassment he felt when they kissed in front of him in the hallway.

But at the same time, he doesn't want to let go of the feeling he gets with Yoongi. He feels protected in his arms. His scent is so calming and alluring, it's impossible to resist. And when Yoongi confessed, Jimin can't lie and say he didn't feel butterflies. He replays the scene over and over before he goes to bed sometimes. Because Yoongi could be the perfect alpha.

He is strong and caring, attentive and protective but not possessive in a concerning way. He's always there when Jimin needs his presence, and that says a lot about how he veiws him. But then Jimin gets reminded of everything that happened and gets irritated with him all over again. It's like he can't let it go. Yoongi hurt his feelings and whenever he feels himself becoming too mushy and delusional, he reminds himself of that fact.

"You guys notice how distant Yoongi hyung's been acting?" Jeongguk says as soon as Jimin and Seokjin join him at the lunch table. The two share a confused look.
