Throughout the night, they continue on with many conversations. Jimin fills Yoongi in on the status of Taehyung and Jeongguk's relationship, (though even those two don't even know the status of their own relationship) and they talked about any and everything that peaked their interests.

Jimin found himself enjoying the night and Yoongi's presence. He valued this time that they had together and had come to the realization that there are two things in his life that currently makes him feel strong emotions.

The pack land and all it's beautiful nature. He'll never get over how it makes him feels. Home. Comfort. Security. Jimin's own house hasn't felt like home since his mothter passed. To find such a familiar comfort in a place like this made him feel a strong sense of security that he didn't know he needed. It made him believe that he can finally start to heal the hole created in his heart when she left this Earth. He can finally start healing.

Min Yoongi made him believe that there is more to his life. Yoongi made him believe that his heart still worked, that it still beat and it still FEELS. He hasn't felt anything other than negative emotions before meeting him. With Yoongi, he's learning how it feels to like and be liked by someone. Though this may be far fetched, Yoongi is also teaching him how to heal as well. And the way that his heart beat increases whenever the alpha kisses him, shows him that he is capable of these strong emotions, too. He's capable of being happy again. Earlier, he thought that Yoongi became more happier when with him, but Jimin himself also became more happier with the alpha.

He realizes that now while looking into Yoongi's warm brown eyes.

Yoongi had come closer at some point during their conversation. They sat across from each other with their knees almost touching, the picnic basket being long discarded on the side of the blanket. Yoongi rambles on about something until he realizes that Jimin isn't listening anymore. His first thought was to scold the omega, but then he seen his eyes soften and tears beginning to well in them. He's confused by the cause of it.

"What's wrong?" He asks softly, as if scared to trigger the building waterfall of tears in the omega's eyes.

Jimin takes a deep breath and looks away. "I'm really scared to like you because you make me happy. I haven't felt happy in a long time. I don't want this to be temporary."

He is being very vulnerable, but he feels like he has to be in order to get his point across. He will constantly remind Yoongi of how difficult it is to trust him. The alpha carefully took down his walls, brick by brick, and then attacked. What Jimin was really afraid of was that he didn't see it coming. It's scary to him. As much as he wants to believe Yoongi wouldn't hurt him again, he can't just completely tear down those walls again.

He knows why he fears this. He fears being happy. He fears it because he knows it's temporary, it always is. Happiness isn't ever long term in his life, and when he thought it was, he lost his mother. When he thought it was possible to be happy again, he got hurt. He just doesn't want to hurt again.

Yoongi feels dejected seeing his tears and sensing his emotions. He reaches out and grabs one of the omega's hands and holds it tightly, looking into his teary eyes. "You make me happy, too. I want you to be able to trust me. I never want to hurt you ever again. I was stupid and I regret it all. I'm sorry for hurting you, Jimin. You deserve way more than that."

The omega turns back to him and allows a few small tears to fall from his eyes. The flickering flame of the candle projects in them. Yoongi can see that he's hesitant. His soft eyes hold a slight bit of fear. It makes the alpha feel hurt that he caused that, but he's hoping that if Jimin gives him the chance to make things right, he'll be able to remove that fear. He never wants to be the cause of Jimin's tears ever again.
