A/N: I posted this to my AO3 two months ago and completely forgot to post it here, sorry:( No spoilers but you might need Mart of Darkness for some context.

Quinn walked into the giant pink-hued Payday store with her yellow purse clutched in her arm. She walked through the automatic metal doors and went to search for the aisle she was looking for.

"Excuse me, do you know where the baby aisle is?" Quinn asked an employee with platinum blonde hair and a distinctive orange pie cap.

"Isle 12." The employee answered as he lead her to the aisle in question.

Quinn knew him from a couple of her classes, but not enough where she worried her secret would come out.

Quinn was in awe when she looked at Payday's baby section for the first time. Two entire aisles of brightly coloured baby items lined the metal shelves. Many of which were too small to fit her and/or too expensive. So many cute things, so little money.

"Thank you." She replied to the boy.

Quinn perused the aisles and gushed over everything she found cute. She couldn't help but imagine using these items herself and how cute and tiny she would look.

"Hm, only nine dollars." Quinn thought as she placed a Minnie Mouse sippy cup into the red basket she grabbed earlier.

A few minutes later, Quinn walked to the checkout with a sippy cup, a pair of pink and white bibs, and a small baby toy. Yet, when she walked up to the checkout line, she saw a familiar face. She knew this person was one of Daria's former classmates.

Andrea was standing at the register wearing a black top and Payday branded apron and hat. She turned her head to look around the store when she saw Quinn coming towards her.

"Hello Quinn, how may I help you? Wait, did I get your name right?" Andrea asked in her best customer service voice.

"Hi Andrea; long time no see, huh." Quinn averted her eyes as she lifted the items out of the basket.

"Are you going to a baby shower?" Andrea asked, confused about why Quinn would be buying baby products.

"Uh, yes, next Saturday." Quinn blurted out as she faked a smile.

"Hey, if you don't tell your friends I work here, then I won't tell anyone about your little secret. Deal?" Andrea leaned against the counter and spoke in a hushed voice.

Quinn stood frozen as she processed what Andrea had said to her. She couldn't believe Andrea knew; does she do it herself or does she know someone who does?

"I'll say I've met much better liars in my life." Andrea chuckled.

"Can I have my total, please?" Quinn asked, and lifted her right index finger in the air.

"The deal?" Andrea tapped her finger on the counter.

"Oh yeah, right, deal?" Quinn and Andrea shook hands.

"The total is $20.97." Andrea returned to her customer service voice and began operating the cash register.

"Bye, Andrea." Quinn waved as she carried her bag to her father's blue Lexus.

Andrea waved and then looked around, waiting for the next customer.

On the drive home, Quinn couldn't help but think about the events that transpired while in the store. The fact Andrea knew blew her mind but, she knew she wasn't great at lying. She couldn't wait to get home and open everything up and use them.

She didn't know how long she would be able to hide her regression from her parents. She was a little scared of how they would react, especially her mother. Then again, her parents were pretty supportive of her and her sister. She supposed her mother would like to have a baby around sometimes. She wasn't ready to broach that conversation, not yet, anyway.

For now, she was happy to be home.
