Chapter Eleven: Denial

The next morning the only thing on Momo's mind was what Izuku said the night before. Alfred knocked on her door.

"Ms. Momo are you ready for school?"

"I will be soon!"

"Very well, You have a visitor, I'll let him know your not ready yet"

And with that Alfred walked away from the door. Momo was confused on who was here. She got ready quickly so she could see who was the visitor. She walked down the stairs to see Izuku talking to Alfred. Izuku noticed Momo and waved smiling.

"Izuku...what are you doing here?"

"Came to pick you up obviously"

Momo blushed slightly then walked up to Izuku. She grabbed his arm and dragged him out the house.

"See ya later Alfred!" Izuku yelled

Alfred bowed then smiled. Momo kept dragging Izuku until they were away from her house. She looked at Izuku and grabbed his shoulders.

"What were you thinking?!"

Izuku grabbed her shoulders.

"I wasn't"

"That's not a good thing!"

Izuku let Momo go then shrugged. He turned away from her and started walking away from her. Momo ran after him

"So we're going on a date tonight or tomorrow?"

"Date..? I thought you were joking!"

"Who would joke about something like that?"

"Assholes"

Izuku was stunned he held his chest and lowered his head.

"The disrespect! I'm not an asshole, I can be though"

"I don't know that, you could've changed for all I know"

Izuku's eye twitched from annoyance. Momo just smiled then Izuku sighed heavily.

"You've been around Katsuki way too much"

"I mean yes, he's my friend also"

"Why you so cold this morning? What is it because of the kiss?"

Momo was caught off guard and started blushing. She stayed silent then Izuku smirked.

"To be fair you kissed me first so you can't be mad at me"

"I can actually, it's your fault I even did that"

"Whatever, anyways when is our date, tonight or tomorrow?"

"There won't be a date!"

"Aww why not?"

"We're only friends that's all"

*Did I just get friend zoned by someone who kissed me first?*

Izuku started laughing then put his hand on Momo's head and leaned down closer to her ear.

"If that's how you want to play it, let the games begin"

Izuku walked ahead of her leaving Momo confused. 

*What did he mean by that?*

They walked into UA and walked to their class and sat down in their seats. Aizawa started explaining the lesson for that day and Momo was just lost in thought wondering what Izuku meant by what he said. She was clearly out of it then see felt a tap on her shoulder. She looked to her side to see Mina standing next to her.

"You alright Yaomomo?" 

"Yes, I'm fine Ashido-san"

"If you say so, Anyways what's the deal with you and that Izuku guy? You seemed flustered when you walked in today"

"Nothing's going on, and I wasn't flustered"

"Sure you wasn't, anyways what were you thinking so hard about?"

"Just something that happened last night and this morning"

Mina gasped then smiled goofyly, Momo was confused by her reaction.

"Did you two kiss?!"

"What? No!"

"Oh- then what happened?"

Momo blushed slightly then sighed.

"Say if we did kiss, What am I suppose to do?"

"Well first of all, You kissed who first?"

Momo was silent then averted eye contact. Mina smirked then snickered.

"Okay well, Why did you kiss him?"

"Who kissed whom?" 

Izuku asked startling Mina and Momo. Mina held her chest as she tried to catch her breath. Izu was smiling waiting for an answer.

"Yaomomo told me you two kissed"

"What about it?"

"Are you two dating now?"

"Not yet cause she won't tell when she wants to go on a date"

"Like I said, we're only-"

"We can't only be friends since you kissed me"

"Sounds like you're in denial Momo"

"I'm not! It was a simple mistake!"

Izuku and Mina looked at each other then looked back at Momo. 

"Wow who would've thought you'd be this dense"

"I want to talk to you Momo"

"About what?"

"Just follow me please"

Momo got up from her desk then followed Izuku out into he hallway. Izuku stopped walking and so did Momo. Izuku looked at Momo with an serious expression.

"So why did you kiss me if it was a mistake?"

"I don't know what came over me! I don't understand why I did it..."

"Okay then, Look me in my eyes and say we're only friends"

Momo was about to say it but she couldn't she immediately looked away from Izuku blushing slightly. Izuku walked up to Momo and put his hand on her cheek causing her to blush more then she looked at him.

"We both know you have feelings for me, You just have to accept it."

Momo nodded then Izuku backed up away from her a bit. He then smiled again.

"So when's the date?"

"Your still on that?"

"Yes, I want to know when we'll go on our date, soooo?"

"Tonight will be fine.."

"Perfect!"

Izuku walked passed Momo and walked back into the classroom. She stood there for a moment then followed Izuku back into the classroom and sat back down in her seat. Mina walked up to Momo curious but also suspiciously.

"What happened?"

"We're going on a date tonight.."

"So you finally got out of denial?"

"I was never-...Yes"

"Congratulations then! Hope you two have fun" 

Mina smirked then walked away. Momo didn't catch what she meant until after she walked away. Momo blushed even more then put her head down from embarrassment. Momo lifted her head back up and stared at Izuku.

*Hopefully this will end well... If not I won't be able to face him anymore*
