Seokmin didn't reply, because frankly, he too wanted to give Seungcheol a beating for everything that he had done to Hyeri.

"We're taking her home with us, Seokmin. I don't care if you consider it as kidnapping, but I will not let her go back to Seungcheol," Soonyoung said with such finality, that it honestly scared Seokmin to rebut.

"Okay. I'll text Jeonghan to keep a room ready for her?"

Soonyoung hummed, eyes not leaving Hyeri's sleeping figure.

Seokmin's phone screen flashed, showing an incoming call from Jeonghan's number. He sighed and answered the call, not expecting to hear Joshua's voice bombard him with questions.

"Seokmin? What happened? Is everything okay? How's Hyeri? How's Soonyoung? Why'd you ask Jeonghan to clean up Seungkwan's room?"

"Woah, Shua, hello to you, too."

"Everyone's so worried. Wait, I'm putting the phone on speaker."

Seokmin heard the chatter of his other friends in the background, and spoke quietly, "Guys, she's fine, she's sleeping right now. We're gonna bring her back home once she gets discharged, so please keep a room ready for her."

"She's staying with us?" Mingyu sounded excited, which made Seokmin smile sadly.

"Yeah, Soonyoung thought it best for her to stay with us for a while."

"And what about Seungcheol? Does he know she's coming here? How is he okay with that?"

Seokmin clicked his tongue at Jeonghan's questions. "I promise, we'll explain everything later."

He quickly ended the call when he saw Hyeri shuffling around on the hospital bed. Her eyes opened, and she frantically looked around the unfamiliar surroundings. Her eyes were filled with fear, when she saw Soonyoung, standing frozen in his place.

"Soonyoung!" Hyeri croaked, looking extremely relieved. He immediately unfroze from his position, and sat beside her, his hand grabbing hers automatically.

"How are you feeling?" Soonyoung whispered, eyes roaming all over her face.

"Fine. I think. Though my head hurts like shit." She tried sitting up, but yelped and fell back down. Soonyoung rushed to help her, adjusting the bed and pillows.

"Careful, there."

"Why am I in the hospital? Where is Cheol? Why can't I remember anything?"

"You, uh, fell down, and hurt your head, so we brought you to the hospital. Seungcheol's at home, don't worry about him."

"What happened to you, Soonie? Why do you look like your dog died?" Hyeri tried joking, but couldn't make Soonyoung feel better.
