Those past two years had been quite a journey for Rosemary, where the Cullens moved to Forks, Washington. Meeting her mate, Theodore Forge, was unexpected, but she couldn't be happier. She didn't know what she did to deserve such an incredible person, who loved her with everything in him, even after knowing she and her family were vampires.

The young woman hadn't got any contact with the shapeshifters' pack since Paul Lahote almost injured her badly after seeing her talking with his Alpha, Sam Uley. Her family and the pack had a meeting to clear things out, where Rosemary, Sam and Paul apologized to each other, the hothead doing it a little bit reluctantly. The vampire missed the Alpha as she liked his company and found their conversation interesting, but she learned from her boyfriend that he was now with a woman named Emily Young, the cousin of his ex-girlfriend Leah. She was happy for him and wished them the best, but she couldn't help but be empathic towards Leah as it must be difficult for her.

Even if it had been two years the Cullens had been in Forks, people couldn't get over their interest towards that family. At school, they attracted looks like light attracts moths, especially the remaining single Cullen, Edward. People still, sometimes, tried themselves at asking out the bronze-haired vampire, but the demands decreased as he always politely declined any invitations.

Now that Rosemary, Edward, Alice and Jasper were Juniors and Rosalie and Emmett were Seniors, the Olympic coven couldn't help but dread over the fact that their time in school was almost over. It necessary meant that they were moving out soon, and it scared Rosemary to think about maybe being separated from Theo. They could go in the same college after high school, but they had never talked about it and she didn't know if he wanted to stay in Forks with his father Waylon. The dark-haired vampire tried to not think about this as much as possible as it was not tomorrow they had to make a decision.

Christmas break was over and it was now the first day back in school. Rosemary got ready with a small skip in her steps. A few days ago, Alice had told her she saw Edward's mate and that he started school today. The pixie like vampire seemed worried about something, but she chose not to open up to her sister. Rosemary did everything so she wouldn't think of Alice's confidence, so Edward could have the surprise. Skipping downstairs, Rosemary kissed Esme and Carlisle's cheek before leaving to her car. You can imagine how the relief the Cullen's children felt when they finally hit the age of driving, at least in their story. The happiest was probably Rosalie, who could finally show off her red convertible.

Speeding down the road, Rosemary noticed she was too early, and Theo was probably still sleeping. Stopping in the Forge's driveway, the dark-haired girl walked to the front door, knocking softly. A sleepy Waylon opened the door, sipping on his coffee.

"Rosemary! You're early today," Theo's father raised his eyebrows as he looked at the clock.

"I hope I didn't bother you," Rosemary smiled sheepishly, making the older man shake his head.

"Don't worry. But Theo's not awake yet," He let the young woman enter.

"Can I go wake him up?" She smiled.

"Be my guest," Waylon laughed before going back to the kitchen. Walking upstairs excitedly, Rosemary followed her mate's scent before knocking softly on the door. As she expected, she didn't get any answer, so she opened the door, being careful of not making any disturbing sound. Soft snores could be heard from the bed, where Theodore was, wrapped up in his blankets. The young blond man had the habit of sleeping with his head covered when he slept alone, so only blonde curls could be seen, making Rosemary smile.

She sat down beside her mate, pulling the sheets down a little so she could admire his face. Smiling at his angelic features, Rosemary ran her index down one of his eyebrows, tracing down his cheek and then his jawline. In her deep admiration, she didn't notice her mate's heartbeat becoming faster as he wasn't asleep anymore. She leaned over him to press a kiss on his forehead to wake him up, but she was surprised by Theo grabbing her hips and bringing her under his body.
