EMMA'S POV!
WALKING INTO the sturniolo household felt weird. the place was dead. nobody was in the living room or the kitchen. so silent i could hear my heart beat.
"nick?" i call out.
"in chris' room!" he yells back.
i make my way downstairs passing by matt room on the way to chris'. i dont hear anything but music playing.
pause.
i hear cornelia street playing.
now i really know how bad it is.
trying my best not to cry. i continue to make my way to chris' room.
"EMMAAA" chris runs up, immediately embracing me. "hi chris" i laugh. oh how i've missed this. "ok chris i cant breathe" i push him off of me moving onto nick. "wow i've miss yall." giving him the biggest hug. "more than you think".
"cant say the same"
"fuck you chris" i laugh.
oh how ive missed this. feels like its been an eternity since i've been here. im so happy but the thought of matt clouds my mind. i decide to not tell nick and chris what i heard from matts room. they probably wouldn't even understand.
we've been downstairs in chris' room planning my birthday party. every year i look forward to throwing my party, since my parents were never around to give me one themselves. i've always done it at the triplets house. it's something they started doing for me when marylou realized how no one really cared for me at home.
"im so excited for this year" nick says
"no, same" i agree "going to la is the best idea"
"your birthdays are always the best, i know it will be fun" chris says
