MY BODY IS SURROUNDED BY THE COLD SEA. "Tuk, this is not a good idea", I say to the little girl as we all quietly got on the ship again. Tsireya, who was standing right next to me, was looking around in worry. No one was here, luckily.

Tuk didn't listen to me. So we followed her. She actually was right. We had to save Kiri. But it was all way too dangerous! We quickly sneaked through the ship, trying to be as quiet as possible.

After a few minutes, we found Kiri. She was tied to a railing. I was relieved. She was alive.

"Kiri!", Tuk whispered.

"Tuk! Aylikhi! Tsireya!", Kiri said when she saw us. "Shhh", I made. No one could hear us. We tried to untie her. I got my blue knife out, but before I could cut the tie, someone grapped Tuk.

"No!", she shouted, and I looked up in horror. A male Na'vi stood there. He was ugly. A sky-human.

"No!", me and Tsireya shouted. We tried to get Tuk out of his grip, but he was way too strong. Then he pushed our bodies into the cold water.

I wanted to dive to the surface again, but Tsireya stopped me. He was too strong and dangerous.

We looked around us, not really knowing what to do. But then we heard one ilu. We called for it and immediately jumped on it. Our rescue.

We looked around, trying to find anyone we knew. Then my eyes found something. Lo'ak! I tipped on Tsireya's shoulder and pointed to the boy. Her eyes lit up. He was with something else. A sky-person! But he seemed to trust him.

We got to them, Lo'ak seemed excited about something. "Get on!", I said to them and pointed to the ilu. Suddenly, Neteyam got up the surface.

I immediately smiled. "Neteyam!", I said to him in relief. My heart calmed down.

"You skxawng", he said and my smile dropped. He looked to his brother. I frowned. He looked hurt.

"I'm shot", he said and groaned in pain.

My eyes widened. No, no, no. This couldn't be happening. "Shit", I heard Lo'aks voice. Neteyam couldn't move.

I didn't know what to do. My body couldn't move either. We grapped his body and put him onto the ilu. He was weak.

My mind was messy, I could only focus on him right now. No, this couldn't be real. This all had to be a dream, a nightmare.

I felt tears forming in my eyes. Tsireya' eyes were watery, too. This all couldn't be real, I thought again.

As we all started to swim away from the dangerous ship, Tsireya said, "They have Kiri and Tuk". But right now, I couldn't even really think about them. All I could think about was Neteyam.

"Dad!", Lo'ak suddenly shouted towards a rock, and I could see Jake Sully approaching us. I held Neteyam's chest in support. He was cold. His eyes locked with mine. I tried to tell him with my eyes that everything would be okay. It had to be.

"Dad, help us! It's Neteyam!", Lo'ak shouted again. Neteyam started to cough and worry filled my stomach.

"Hurry!", I said and we took his body to the rock, so he could lay down. I supported his head with my hands. Neteyam coughed so, so much. Tears fell down my cheeks.

It was all so stressed, so rushed. Jake seemed to realise that this was not a small injury.

"Put pressure on his heart!", he said to his other son. My eyes widened when I realised that Neteyam's heart was damaged.

I locked eyes with him again. I tried to smile. "It's gonna be okay, Neteyam. Everything is going to be okay", I said to him with a sad smile.

His eyes shimmered. "Aylikhi, I-", he started and my heart wrenched. "Aylikhi, I love you", he whispered and so many tears left my eyes. "I love you too", I whispered. "Neteyam, I see you".

Neteyam's eyes now looked on his father, whose eyes were filled with worry.

"Dad, I-", he started, but seemed to struggle to finish his sentence. I put my hand in his. Neytiri arrived us too, on her ikran. She was shocked. Her eyes filled with horror too.

"No, no, no, no, no", she said and sat down next to me. "It's okay, I'm here", Jake said to his son. Tears were in his eyes too. I never seen him cry before.

Neteyam was gasping laboriously. My breathing got quicker and quicker.

"I want to go home", Neteyam said and I let out a sob. No. No. This couldn't be happening. No, Great Mother. Please, don't let this happen.

Jake's voice was quivering. "I know, I know. We're going home", he said, "It's okay, it's okay."

Neteyam's yellow eyes fell to me. I was sobbing. "No, I-", he started.

Everything stopped. Neteyam's eyes stood still. They lost their beautiful color in that very moment. His breathing stopped. Everything did. He looked completely calm. But nothing about this was relaxing.

Horror fulfilled me. My entire body shivered. I couldn't breath.

No, no, no.

"No, Great Mother! Please!", I whispered. So many tears. So, so many. They all left my eyes. But it didn't lead to no where.

My beautiful Neteyam. He was gone.

My beautiful Neteyam was dead.

"No, Neteyam", I whispered while I held his cold hand. This time, his eyes didn't wander to me. I would never have eye contact with him again. He would never hold me again. Everything was over. "Come back", I whispered, and my voice cracked.

Thr others were speaking to each other, but I couldn't listen to them. My mind was on the boy lying in front of me. None of this felt real.

Then I heard Jake's voice. He was talking to Lo'ak. "Stay with your brother", he said, his eyes were dead.

"Dad, I want to go with you", Lo'ak begged, but Jake shook his head. "You've done enough", he said and Lo'ak looked heartbroken. More tears fell down the ground. I was creating an ocean myself.

They left. Tsireya, Lo'ak and I were stuck on this small island with Neteyam. Nothing has changed. I was still crying and letting out small beggings, while the others lived through the trauma in silence.

I wanted to take revenge. I wanted to kill whoever murdered Neteyam, or Lekxyo, but I couldn't stand up. I couldn't bring my body back to life. It was all to much.

So I stayed there and cried and cried, secretly knowing that my life was over now.

Every source of happiness was gone.

hi guys,
writing this was hard. at first I wasn't very sure if I wanted neteyam to die in this story of not. But I decided to do it, because as already mentioned, I am planning on writing a sequel, once the third movie comes out, and for that, neteyam has to be dead.

there will be one more chapter, and i want you guys to read it, because this chapter will end everything.

I hope u aren't too mad, but this was planned for a long time now🙏🏼🙏🏼
