IN THE LAKE PALACE
The lake palace stood proudly in its glory, every architectural motif oozing out the eminence of beauty.
Abhidnya came out of her luxurious car and stood in front of the palace, taking in its grandeur. This palace holds endless childhood memories shared between her and Adhavan.
Her palms were are sweaty. Her upper lip was shining due to the sweat beads along with her tear clad eyes. Saying she was nervous would be an understatement. She wanted to meet Adhavan but at the same time she desperately wanted to run away from there.
There was a sensation of unsettling guilt creating havoc in her mind. She was feeling ashamed to confront the man who loved her beyond the definition of love and whom she broke beyond repair.
"Bai sa....andar chale? Hukum sa apka intezar kar rahe honge. Aapka der hona hukum sa ko shayad pasand na aye" Her bodyguard cautioned her about the time and delay.
Abhidnya took a breath out of her mouth and nodded her head in approval. Her bodyguard guided her the way to the balcony where Adhavan was waiting for her.
She with her slow steps walked to the place where Adhavan was standing in his white and black formal as finalized by his bro buddies.
(Adhavan's look)
She took her sweet time in silently admiring the affection she underrated, the care she devalued, the love she betrayed, the man she lost.
Adhavan who was standing on the edge of the balcony, looking ahead at the lake, could feel someone's presence. He didn't turn around but swiftly half turned his head to acknowledge Abhidnya's presence.
