She

I felt so small, I wasn't that strong,
I cried all night, what went wrong?
Did she ever see, what she did to me,
She left for a while, and tears left free.

I told her to no leave me,
saw what was coming, so we'll wait and see,
When she was done, she came running to me,
she left for a while and tears ran free.

I feared all the time, I wanted her to stay,
didn't know how she was, so I waited all day.
When the other's had left, she came back to me,
She left for a while and tears ran free.

Finally I saw her real intention arize,
I, for her, was a mere prize.
I told her to leave when she came back to me,
She'd left forever and my tears ran free.

Someday or other  I saw her face,
Her radiant smile sent my silly heart in a haze.
Stupid as I was, thought she was made for me,
But she's left now, and so my taers run free.

For years to come, I didn't need none other,
For I found the best in my loving mother.
Mum for me is my greatest treasure,
To make my heart smile, she will reach any measure.
But our memories were limited, as I'd seen for me,
Cause now she's left and my tears run free...
