five months since nini got tickets
five months of waiting to travel to Glendale, Arizona to see nini's all time favorite singer live in concert
and todays the day

nini and ricky were going to the eras tour
ricky begged nini to take someone else because he didn't want to sit through a whole taylor swift concert but nini brought him anyways because she knows he's secretly a swiftie and knows all the words to her songs
ricky agreed on one condition, he wouldn't have to dress up
nini didn't listen
she made him match with her
for weeks after getting the tickets she looked for couples costume ideas online for her and ricky and finally found the perfect one
with it being nini's favorite song and all, she chose for her and ricky to dress up as miss americana and the heartbreak prince
nini found this beautiful dress and a sash that says "miss americana" and bought ricky a plastic crown
as much as ricky protested, he knew how happy this made his girlfriend and he loves seeing her happy
before they knew it, they were packing their bags and getting on a plane to arizona to attend opening night of the tour
nini was so excited constantly going on about what songs she wanted taylor to play
ricky just loved seeing nini get all excited about this and even though he tried to deny it, he was also very excited to see what songs she was going to perform
when they finally land, they head straight for the hotel. on the ride to the hotel nini gives ricky an airpod and puts on her taylor swift playlist to get ricky ready for the concert
the next day, it was it
the concert was happening in just a few hours and nini spent most of that time getting ready
they arrived early for merch and after waiting in that line for what felt like a year, they finally got concert shirts
nini was taking a million pictures and videos to show to all their friends at school on monday
at 6:00 they opened the door to the stadium and ricky and nini found their seats in the lower level
they listened to the openers and after waiting anxiously, taylor's set started
the opening was insane
nini was so shocked she had no idea what was coming
taylor finally appeared on stage and nini screamed louder than she ever has before in her life
she was singing her song
she was singing miss americana and the heartbreak prince
the costume that her and ricky came as
nini couldn't believe it
this was by far the best moment of nini's life
not even her future wedding would compare to this
but she knows that her future wedding would have ricky there too so it would definitely be a close second
meanwhile ricky couldn't hide his excitement anymore
he knew all the lyrics to every song taylor sang that night
he was having the best night of his life seeing the concert of a lifetime with the love of his life
he doesn't know how it could get much better than this
which is a lyric for fearless, which is the song taylor opened the fearless set with
the night went on and he listened to over 3 hours of taylor swift songs going from lover, to fearless, to all her other eras.
after the concert he and nini had both lost their voices and could barely understand a word each other said
this concert is the happiest he's ever seen nini and ricky would go to every taylor swift concert for the rest of his life if it means he gets to see her like this all the time

y'all this made me cry because i miss rini so much as i have PTSD from the great ticketmaster battle of 2022/2023 that i did not in fact survive since my show has passed and i didn't get tickets
