Plot: It's time for Salt Lake City Middle School's Annual Spring Fling! This is the dance where the girls ask the guys, all of Nini's friends want her to ask Ricky because they all know they really like each other! When the new principal Mr. Mazzara comes to the school and cancels the dance and instead hosts a huge test. It's up to the students to get the dance back on!

Nini and her friends are all dancers, they are part of the Salt Lake Dance Team but have their own group called the Chicken Girls!
Nini: State was hard enough, now I have to think about how to ask Ricky to the dance
Gina: Asking boys the the dance is on my list right next to beating Power-surge to perform at the dance.
Kourtney: What is their to stress over? All you're doing is asking a boy if he wants to go to the dance with you!
Nini: It's not that easy Kourt! You're the only one of us who has been in a relationship
Gina: How are you forgetting when you dating Austin?

Nini: That lasting a few months, I like Ricky now and nothing and nobody will change that
Something they all like to do is sing and dance in the hallways
...dancing on the ceiling yeah yeah!
Mr. Mazzara: NO SINGING IN THE HALLS!
Kourtney: But we always sing in the halls
Mr Mazzara: Not anymore!
*in class*
Nini: Who was that?
Gina: I heard he's a new math teacher
Chloe: Well if it isn't the chicken heads
Hannah: and what are you guys called? Static hair?
*Hannah is Birdie and Chloe is Luna*
Chloe: so do you guys have dates?
Kourtney: we have so many dates that we don't know what to do with all..our..dates..
All the girls rolled their eyes at Kourtney
Hannah: do you have any dates?
Chloe: no, but I heard Ricky's pretty cute
Hannah: hands off my baby bro!
Chloe: whatever, first were going to beat you at dancing then we're going to teach you how to dance, with boys!
Gina: move along Chloe!

It's time for the winner of who's going to perform and the spring fling to be announced.
Ms. Jenn: and the winner is...Powersurge! and...Salt Lake Dance Team!
"WHAT!" They all said in unison.
Hannah: we want to speak to your boss!
so they all run to the principals office.
When they get in there Nini sees Ricky and EJ walk in with their camera
Nini: Ricky? Why are you filming here?
Ricky: I don't know
Mr. Mazzara goes over how things at this school are changing
*one day later*
Mr. Mazzara decides to cancel the spring fling and instead hosts a huge test called "the test test"
Now it's up to the students to get the dance back on!

And just a heads up they are all in 8th grade because that's the same year that their in the chicken girls movie.
