CHAPTER 39

When Mikey and the guys reached the hospital your operation was already done. After getting the room number from the nurse he dash to your room. He opened the door to see his family standing around your bed. Your dad holding your hand caressing the back of it. Everyone's attention turn towards Mikey hearing the door open.

"Manjirou you are back." Shinichiro exclaim walking towards him. Mikey shifted his eyes from you to Shinichiro and back to your motionless body. "How's Y/n?" He asked walking towards you.

"The doctor said she's in coma and when she will wake up is not known. The baby is also weak so they have given some liquids and attached a small pipe to her womb." Shinichiro explains a worried expression on his face and furrowed eyebrows. Mikey seeing his wife in the hospital bed motionless was breaking his heart. The atmosphere was tense, everyone was on edge. Mikey raises his hand to touch your face but stops when he sees blood on his hands.

"You all should go home to take a shower. There's blood everywhere on your bodies and change your clothes. I also have to go to prepare dinner." Emma said as she walk towards Mikey. He was hesitant, he didn't want to leave but he also didn't want to touch you with his dirty hands. He nods his head as the two gets out of the room. The others were waiting outside to give the family their personal time but they did hear everything they were saying.

Reaching home Mikey went straight to the room. The room was dark and he didn't bother turning on the light. He sits at the edge of the bed and look around the room. He can remember all the memories of what you two did in the room, goofing around, late night talks and many more. A tear escapes his eyes when remembered your smiling face, how you would chuckle and laugh out. He wipe his tears and stands up to take a hot shower. The shower relaxed his tense body and his mind that was full of negative thoughts.

'Y/n please don't leave me.'

He thought as tears falls down his eyes which was quickly washed away by the water dripping down his face. He didn't want to think that you'll leave him. He misses you already and regrets not leaving the house with you. He feels numb and empty. He can hear the foreign voices ringing in his ears but chose to ignore it cause you said so. He wants to touch you, hear your voice, your laugh and your cute chuckles. He wants to tease you so that you can pout and complain about him to Baji or Shinichiro. He wants to see your excited face when talking to your baby bump. He feels his chest tightening when he realises that he can't do, see or hear them anymore, maybe you won't ever wake up. He thought that all the time not being able to think straight.

He came back to his senses when Emma called out to him. He walk out the bathroom after changing his clothes and goes down to see Baji and Draken in the hallway of the front door with his sister.

"We came to get you Mikey. Let's go together." Baji said as he smiles showing his sharp fangs as Draken smiled softly at him. Mikey can tell that Baji was forcing himself to be his wild and boisterous character. Of course he would be after all Y/n is like a sister to him. Mikey has always admired their relationship. At first he was against Baji and Y/n being friends since they got close after meeting 2-3 times but stopped when Y/n would smile and tell him about how much she loves playing with him and Baji.

Mikey comes back to reality when Draken stops the bike and since he sitting with him he moved forward from the sudden break. Mikey look forward to see the hospital and gets off the bike walking inside the hospital. He went straight to your room and saw Izana and Kakucho already there with clean clothes. Izana was sitting on the chair beside your bed, his hand intervened with yours, his other caressing your face. Mikey wanted to break Izana's hand for touching you but something was stopping which he didn't know. Seeing you so close with Izana was not settling good with his heart. He felt like you are going futher away from him.

"What are you two bastards doing here?" Baji scrowled as he glared at the two men. Mikey open his mouth to answer but close it back. Izana and Kakucho didn't even bother to look at them.

"I'm here to visit my Y/n." Izana plainly said still holding your hand. Mikey felt his veins about to explode hearing Izana emphasis his wife as my.
"I would like it if you will not be so touchy with my wife." Mikey stated as he went to the other side of the bed his eyes narrowed at Izana.

Izana just scoff at him releasing his hold on your hand standing up. Kakucho sighed at their possessiveness also looking at Y/n worriedly. Shinichiro wanted to have a talk with Izana and Mikey but Izana has not even glanced at his direction even once since he came to the room. Shinichiro cleared his throat to gain their attention and everyone in the room turn their heads his way.

"Manjirou! Izana! Come with me for a minute." Shinichiro said walking out the room as Izana follows behind him grumbling something and Mikey kiss your forehead before walking out.

"What do you want?" Izana asked glaring at the siblings, his hands on the pocket of his hoodie. Shinichiro sigh at the cold tone as Mikey arch his left eyebrow.
"You know what I want Izana." Shinichiro stated as he look straight at the dull purple eyes of his half-brother. "But first of all are you okay?" He asked his voice lacing worry.
"Ofcourse I'm okay!" Izana plainly said his fist tightening inside his pockets. Shinichiro walk to him knowing that asking would not do anything. He grab Izana's head from behind and places it in his shoulders hugging him. Izana froze from the sudden contact his eyes wide.

"I'm sorry Izana. I should have come for you from the beginning. I should have introduced you our family and maybe this wouldn't have happen. We would have been together but because I was so stupid I didn't consider it, it didn't even came to my mind. I know forgiving me is out of the context but I'm really sorry Izana." Shinichiro exclaimed stroking Izana's back and Mikey joins the hug.

"You don't have to ask for forgiveness Shinichiro. You don't even want to choose me alone." Are you trying to use me again was unsaid as his eyes became blurry.

"Izana! I have said this before and I'll say it till you understand. Blood relation is nothing it's the bond." Shinichiro gently whispered hugging his two brothers. Mikey separates from the hug makes eye contact with Izana. "Shin is right Izana. Emma and I we will both be happy to have a big brother. What you are thinking is not true. Emma you can come out of the pillar." Mikey raised his voice a little as Emma comes out an awkward smile on her face.

"I can't help it okay. I also wanted to meet my brother." Emma whispered playing with hem of her muffler.
"Is it really fine with me being your brother when I'm not related to you all?" A soft whisper was heard as the three stare at the white hair man.
"You are family Izana. I want my big brother back with me." Emma gently said smiling at her brother as she hug Izana.

Izana didn't know what to feel but his chest felt warm. He didn't want to get betrayed again but if he opens his heart now he wouldn't regret it right? He wanted to risk it so he raised his hands and hugs back Emma. Shinichiro and Mikey joining after.

"We will talk the rest later you two must be tired from your fight." Shinichiro chuckled walking inside. Mikey and Emma followed after him as Izana stands there for a minute smiling softly. He walk back inside a little later to see Mikey all over Y/n.

'It'll be hard to see them together. Guess it'll take time to get use to it.'
