A Ghosts agony

The lights flicker and then go out...
I feel like that's a sign
Like
Life...
Life flickers and then goes out
I'm afraid of that day
But somehow,
I welcome it...
It is closer than it seems
That day
The pain that will come with it...
After it...

You lay there on the floor
Not thinking anything
But you're still alive
But you have no idea what's happening
You hear the door open
A gasp
And sirens
Still...
You are unaware of your surroundings...
Hold on
Please
Hold on to that last bit of life
You can't take back what you've done...
No time turner to turn you back
What's done
Is done

Soon the tears and hysterical screams come
Which turns into grief
And
They cry so much
They can't cry anymore
You look over and see them there
Beside the bed

That sterile white bed,
For your bed is the ocean
And you are the boat lost at sea

Is it regret your feeling?
Or just guilt?
Either way You shouldn't have done that
You should have counted your blessings
Not your mistakes
And flaws

I'm tired you think
But don't go to bed
You won't return
But you did it anyway
And now they are lying you into
A brand new box
Yet it's cold
Red eyes
And wet faces

Can't they see you?
You're right there
You shout
Scream
Yell...
They can't hear you
You grab them
Your hand passes through
Realization dawns upon you
And slowly you sink to the floor
Crying those transparent tears
