With thirty minutes remaining before the departure of the train bound for London, Y/N navigated the corridors of the castle, her suitcase trailing behind her with an air of urgency. Her chest rose and fell in a rhythm that mirrored the storm of thoughts racing through her mind – a whirlwind of concerns, frustrations, and unresolved conflicts. Frowning, her eyebrows knit in a display of her inner turmoil.

In a moment marked by the pressure of stress, her grip on the suitcase faltered, and it slipped from her fingers. Uncharacteristically, she paid it no mind, allowing the luggage to skid along the floor as she continued her stride. Her gaze darted, a whirlwind of sights and scenes flashing past her vision, before leading her to the serene openness of the courtyard.

A faint glint caught her attention from the periphery, a curious spark igniting her curiosity. Stepping closer, her eyebrow arched in intrigue. The corner she had stumbled upon offered a hidden nook, adorned with greenery and a handful of potted plants. The gentle rustling of leaves welcomed her, a soothing symphony amidst the cacophony of her thoughts. She brushed against a nearby bush, feeling its soft foliage against her skin.

Sinking down onto the ground, she positioned herself at the center of this quiet enclave. The weight of her emotions seemed to press upon her, her posture a reflection of her introspection.

Why, she wondered, was the disintegration of her friendships causing her such turmoil? She attempted to rationalize her thoughts, her arms wrapping around her knees in an instinctive gesture of self-comfort. But the perplexing tangle of her emotions resisted easy explanation.

Her breaths grew uneven, each inhale and exhale echoing the discord within her. Restless fingers fidgeted with the string of her hoodie, a nervous habit that brought a modicum of solace amid her unease. Lost in her contemplation, a sudden rustling sounded behind her, jolting her attention to the source of the disturbance.

Hermione.

There she stood, a concerned expression gracing her features, holding Y/N's errant suitcase. Hermione's intentions were plain – an attempt to assist, to extend a helping hand. Y/N's guarded stance softened momentarily, but the storm within her didn't easily abate.

"You dropped your suitcase, are you—," Hermione's voice was a gentle inquiry, laced with genuine concern.

Y/N's words cut through the air, her response curt and sharp, a manifestation of her inner turmoil.

"Leave me alone," she snapped, her tone conveying a mixture of frustration and vulnerability. A wall had erected itself, a barrier she instinctively erected to safeguard her emotions.

Hermione, seemingly undeterred, began to explain, an attempt to justify her presence and her intentions. "I was just trying to help—" she started to say.

But Y/N's temper flared, her emotions surging forth like an unstoppable wave.

"I said leave me alone!" The words erupted from her, tinged with a rawness that was both unfamiliar and unsettling. The turbulent current of emotions that had taken hold of her was evident in her outburst.
