Link and Mipha had finally arrived in Lurelin Village after an unfortunately lengthy delay on the Dunsel Plateau. The village was as beautiful as was described to him by Princess Zelda as he had never been there himself. Mipha was taking in the scent of the ocean and had a calm look on her face.

The village was quiet but Link could sense an eerie tension in the air. There were very few people out and about and no one seemed to be currently working at the docks or the workshop where the best fishing spears in Hyrule were made. The workshop had recently been converted to making military spears and bows for the war effort but supplies had effectively slowed to a trickle weeks ago. Likely due to the attacks of the mysterious sea monster they had kept hearing about.

Before long a female villager, a native of Lurelin that Link could tell by the dark skin tone passed them by clearly in a hurry. "Excuse me?" He called out.

"Yes milord?" The villager responded hastily. "I'm sure I have nothin' your lordship may want."

"Actually.." Link nervously chuckled. "I just need directions. There's no need to be so formal, we are just visitors."

"You are the champion Link." The villager responded. "I worked at Hyrule Castle's kitchen where I saw you numerous times. I would say that is more than a "visitor."

Link remembered the young lady now. She was a cleaning lady. Always nervous and skittering around like a shy rabbit.

"Glad to see you got out of the castle safe." Link smiled. "About those directions then and I will be out of your way."

"Right." she cleared her throat. "What are you looking for?"

"I need to see the Mayor.. Mula was her name?" he responded, looking around.

"Her house is at the Western edge of town.. closest to the docks." she answered pointing in the direction. "She should be at home deciding how to divy up the weeks supplies to the townspeople."

"How bad has it been around here?" Mipha asked with a inquistive yet comforting voice.

"We have been eating nothing but coconut and crab meat for over a month now. That's even starting to run out now.." the girl began to explain. "When that evil being that took over Hyrule Castle came out and lifted it out of the ground, the earth shook all around."

"Right.. It even caused Death Mountain to erupt." Link affirmed.

"It caused the stones of Dunsel Mountain and Cape Cales to shift and several collapses happened." she continued. "One of the collapses opened up an old Zonai Ruin... an aqueduct or something. Something also came out of it... a big fish monster with razor sharp teeth and a glowing.. antenna thing that shoots lightning!"

"I thought the Palmorae Ruins were already there and known about." Link asked, scratching his chin.

"Yes, but they were more extensive than anyone thought and actually run deep into the mountain." she began to fidget, clearly in a hurry. "Look, I'm no ancient scholar or anythin' If you wanna know more, there was some Hylian and Sheikah research team that went inside after it opened. Maybe they can tell you more."

"Where are they now?" Mipha asked.

"Still inside far as I know.." she responded. "Haven't come out... not that I'm surprised since that's where that damned monster came from!"

"We'll let you go. Thank you for the information." Link said as he handed the girl an apple he had on him. "It isn't much but I'm sure it's better than what you have been eating."
