About two hours after Link and Mipha lay down for their nap, she was awoke to her lover shaking and sweating profusely in his sleep. He was speaking incomprehensible words and moaning. Mipha quickly got up and grabbed her pack from the shelves before rushing back and laying beside him again. She popped the cork on the small flask of dream walking elixir and before she could take a swig her eyes began to water. The smell was horrendous. Something between bog water and sulfer. She quickly gulped it down for her lover and immediately began to hack. The taste was even worse than the smell.

Before long the room began to spin around her and she felt as though her very soul was attempting to claw its way though her skin to escape into the world. She closed her eyes and began to pray to her goddess Nayru that she didn't just poison herself. She suddenly felt a rush of energy erupt from every orifice on her body end before long she felt as though she were floating on air.

She didn't just feel it. She WAS floating on air. She looked down to see her own now lifeless, but still breathing body lying next to his. She looked at her hands that were now white-ish blue and almost completely transparent. The dream walker potion must have separated her very soul from her body. She assumed and hoped that once the effects of the elixir wore off that she would be rejoined with it.

She floated down and laid her now see through hand on Links forehead. She wasn't exactly sure how to enter his dream, but the answer came on its own. Not long after her very soul was pulled into Link's psyche.

--------------------------------

She found herself standing at the foot of the horse statue in Sanidin Park. She turned around to see Link and his two friends Kopis and Lanis that she had been acquainted with before walking past the statue, enjoying some apples. They were having a conversation. They could not see here and walked right through her.

Mipha took the time to listen in.

"Princess Zelda is getting a lot better at riding that horse." Said Kopis, pitching his apple core to the side.

"I don't know why we have to babysit her for this though." remarked Lanis. "Shouldn't we be preparing for the Calamity?"

"Lanis!" snipped Kopis. "Would you rather be on another of her pilgrimages? This is a vacation compared to trudging through a mosquito infested jungle or freezing our arses off on Mt. Lanayru again."

They were coming off their third set of such pilgrimages to unlock Zelda's sacred power, that according to prophecy was supposed to have been unlocked when she turned 17. She, like Link was now 22 years old and people were beginning to doubt the accuracy of the prophecy, or if the Calamity was even real.

"His majesty wanted to make sure his daughter was well versed in all skills once the Calamity arrives." answered Link.

"But, when is that supposed to be?" asked Lanis. "We've been preparing for over five years, the army has doubled in size and still nothing."

"Maybe Calamity Ganon is scared shitless." chuckled Kopis. "I wouldn't mess with a superpower like Hyrule either."

"He's probably planning to hit us when we are least expecting..." replied Link. "When our overconfidence reaches it's peak."

"Speaking of pilgrimages, Sir." Kopis began. "Planning on heading back to Zora's Domain any time soon? Next leave maybe?"

"Yeah..." Link answered. "I probably should visit Mipha and see how her training is coming along."

"Have you told her yet?" asked Lanis.

"Told her?" replied Link, confused.

"How big a crush you have on her?" Lanis answered.
