Link quickly took the response they had been waiting for and opened in a hurry.

To Knight-Marshall Link

I am glad that you made it to Lurelin quicker than I expected, me boy. If I could, I'd order me boys to raise anchor and come see you so we could have a drink.

Regretfully we were run aground by ol' lantern head in our last meeting and the ship is currently undergoing repairs. So 'fraid I can't offer ye any direct assistance.

I can provide information though. The only weakness we have been able to find on the beast is the round tip of the glowing antenna on it's head. Hitting it with an arrow or other such projectile weapon, if it begins to glow discharges electricity from it and seems to stun it briefly. Other than that, the beast has very thick skin and is hard to damage without a lot of force behind the attack.

We managed to wound it in our last scrap. It retreats into those old Palmorae ruins that opened up during the quakes to heal. I wouldn't think of asking you to pursue the beast alone but right now we cannot help. We can't keep this back and forth up though. With every scrap we run lower and lower on repair and medical supplies. Someone will unfortunately have to enter the ruins and kill the beast there.

With best wishes,

Captain Brant.

He handed the letter over to Mipha so she could read it as well.

"Looks like it's on us now." Link said, thanking the Ensign for the quick delivery. "We better get some sleep early."

"With everything we've been through together at this point, I know we can do it Link." Mipha responded with a warm smile.

The headed back to the inn and were there before the sun had fully gone down. The young innkeeper spotted them entering and informed them that the sheets had already been changed.

"Can you give use a wakeup call at 04:30?" Link asked.

"Of course." The young man smiled.

Just as Link and Mipha had headed back to their bed, rain had started outside. This made Link happy as he slept very well when it rained.

He kicked his boots off and didn't bother to do it neatly as he sent one flying several feet away. Mipha instantly nuzzled into his chest, letting his heartbeat and breathing lull her to a peaceful slumber.

He smiled as thoughts of what life may be like after the war was finally over played in his mind. Thoughts that before too long, put him fast asleep too.

Link awoke early the next morning to the feeling of Mipha beginning to stir. As her weight lifted from his body, he opened his eyes.

"That time already?" He managed to get out through a yawn.

"The innkeeper knocked on the screen about five minutes ago." Mipha explained. "You were still out cold."

"I slept well... no dreams this time." Link responded, swinging his legs and pulling himself into a sitting position on the edge of the bed. "Before we head out, I think we should prepare some elixirs, just in case."

"That's a great idea, love." she answered, picking up her trident and slinging it over her back. "I'll be outside getting some morning Zoroku stretches in."

As he put his last boot on another light knock came at his room screen.

"Yes?" He called out as he walked over and slid it out of the way. It was the innkeep boy.
