THE ELEVEN O'CLOCK ferry was leaving the Staten Island terminal when Peter and Aster arrived. Peter swung onto a neighboring building, using the momentum to hurl himself over the water and onto the side of the ship.
Aster was just behind him, using her newly installed grappling hooks to swing onto the massive orange ferry. She made a few adjustments to her suit the night prior, ensuring that she would be ready for whatever they would be faced with. Additionally, Peter decided to connect their comms together so that Aster could have access to Karen too.
Both masked teenagers were holding onto the side of the hull, peeking through a porthole at the passengers sitting inside. "Okay, Karen, activate Enhanced Reconnaissance Mode," Aster whispered.
