ASTER LOWERED MORGAN back to the ground, whispering in her ear to go help Pepper with lunch. The seventeen-year-old had a lump in her throat as she and the adults gathered on the porch. Without wasting any time, Scott explained to Tony what had happened to him, tentatively including his faraway idea of time travel.

When he finally reached the end of his rambling, Scott breathed out a small laugh. "Now, we know what it sounds like..."

Steve had a pensive look on his face. "Tony, after everything you've seen, is anything really impossible—?"

"Quantum fluctuation messes with the Planck Scale, which then triggers the Deutsch Proposition," Tony said, pouring a few glasses of chocolate milk. Based on the entire pitcher of the sweet drink, it was clearly Morgan's favorite. He lifted his head, glancing between them all. "Can we agree on that?"
