Being in the same room with a man is all right for me, but being inside their own bedroom is too much for me to handle

Being in the same room with a man is all right for me, but being inside their own bedroom is too much for me to handle. My fingers couldn't stay still as I stand beside his bed while Ryu searches for some blankets on his huge cabinet. He used the same brand as Auntie Jo.

"Will you be alright with this blanket?" He showed me one that has some clouds design on it.

"Everything is fine for me." nahihiya kong sagot.

Inayos niya ulit ang kama to the point na nakakahiya tuloy higaan. Parang plinantsa sa linis eh, walang kunot sa kahit saang sulok.

"I still think it would be better if I just sleep on the ground." giit ko matapos niyang ayusin ang kama.

He sighed once more, "You're in my room, I was the one who volunteered to let you stay for tonight so technically, you are my guest." tsaka binigay niya sakin ang kumot.

"And besides, who would let a woman sleep on the ground when there's a bed?" He shakes his head as he went outside. Well, that statement took a breath of relief from me.

Huminto siya sa may pintuan.

"I hope my bed is warm enough to comfort all your worries. If you don't feel comfortable or if you have any problems, do not hesitate to call me.

"Uhm. Goodnight, Ren." I know it was awkward for him to say that.

"G-goodnight din." Mas dinagdagan ko ang awkwardness sa atmosphere.

He pursed his lips into a smile and raised his brows before shutting the door behind him. Then the room fell silent, and I remained standing as I processed what had just happened in a span of approximately two hours.

He was dumbfounded when I knocked on his door, looking like a petrified child.

Possible kayang guni-guni ko lang iyon? Na hindi talaga ako hinabol ni Bundy?

Was I just paranoid?

No, it happened!

How could my mind create such realistic scenario if it was just in my head? It certainly felt real, even the fear that strike down my spine. I know I wasn't imagining it!

What should I do when I wake up tomorrow?

Ryu could be my only witness if he had just seen him.
