The Devil Beside You is an introduction to my trilogy series 'UnGodly', which depicts the disturbing adventure of a notorious serial killer. This can get very confusing at first, but it'll be slowly untangled in the end. In short, this story is only a small portion of a large yet mind-fucking plot full of twists and turns. Be sure to read the two volumes that come after this one.
Moreover, The Devil Beside You is inspired by the horror-thriller k-drama series 'Strangers from Hell', which is why the plot seems familiar.
