Nakahiga ako sa mainit na kama habang kausap si Kei sa telepono, pinipilit akong sumama sa party mamayang gabi. It's the party everybody is talking about, where everyone above 18 can attend. I heard the venue is a huge mansion they rented just a few minutes drive from here. Paniguradong halos lahat ng studyante ay nandoon.
"Please Ren, maawa ka sakin. Samahan mo nalang ako." Kei badly wants to attend and I wonder why.
Hindi pinayagang umattend si Riko ng tatay niya dahil sa pagala-galang kidnapper kaya nawalan din ako ng ganang pumunta. I feel bad for her, siya pa naman pinaka-excited sa'ming tatlo. She even showed us her outfit the other day. Nagkukulong iyon sa kwarto for sure.
"Give me a reason why I should go." I challenged her.
"Because I want to go and I don't want to be alone, especially sa gabi magaganap ang party."
She used her 'safety' card. Mautak. But jokes on her, alam kong may sarili siyang sasakyan at afford niyang mag taxi.
"That is also one of the reason why I don't want to attend. 9pm matatapos ang party tsaka 10pm ang curfew, there's not enough time to get back home. Tsaka nag-aalala rin ako na baka ma-biktima ng kidnapper. " A huge party thrown by bunch of adolescents, that would also be a party for the kidnapper. I don't want to take risks.
Wala akong trabaho ngayon dahil nasa America si sir Itsuki for business related reason. Ibig sabihin, mabubulok ako sa apartment buong araw.
"Wait hold on Kei, iinom lang ako ng tubig."
"Alright, but think about how awesome the party will be Ren. I know kids in our school are assholes, but I assure you, this one is a bit different. You'll enjoy I promise."
Bumaba ako sa kusina upang kumuha sana ng tubig ngunit nadatnan ko sina Bundy at Taki na naglalaro ng poker sa lamesa. Sabay silang lumingon sakin at nanigas naman ako sa kinatatayuan.
"Y-yeah, I guess I should come."
Nevermind, I'd rather be a loner on a party than being in this apartment all day.
"I knew you would! Meron akong extrang costume dito, I'll bring it. Where can I pick you up?"
"Uh ako nalang pupunta ang sa inyo. Maliligo lang ako saglit. " mabilis kong wika at kaagad na binaba ang tawag.
Nanatiling nakatingin sakin sina Bundy at Taki na parang nakikinig sa usapan. They didn't even try to hide it. Bagama't uhaw na uhaw ay pinili kong lumabas at bumili ng tubig sa malapit na vending machine. I just can't stand those weirdos.

"Teka lang Kei, hindi ba ako mukhang tanga sa suot ko?" I keep looking at myself on my phone's screen as we walk towards a huge gate where people are entering wearing different unique costumes. Mukha tuloy halloween party ang pupuntahan namin.
