{1st POV}

I've heard of periods before, my mom has explained it to me. It's where a woman bleeds out every month and sometimes has other symptoms such as cramps. But I didn't think it would be this bad!

The whole toilet was red and my stomach was dying. My mom never explained if I could die or not. I need pads right? Where are the pads? I checked all the cabinets, I don't know what the packaging looks like!

"MAMA!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, hoping she would hear through the giant mansion. I heard some steps coming up the stairs and she appeared in front of the door. "What's wrong? I might be assigned a mission soon." She said.

"I got my period and I don't know where the pads are!" I yelled. I opened the door, letting her in. "It stinks, sorry." I said.

"Hey it's fine, it's all apart of growing up." She said to me. She handed me some pads and left me to get changed. It was pain. I didn't even know how to place the pad properly. I think I did it but only with a lot of hard work.

"Mamaaaa, it hurts." I complained to her. "Here, this will make you feel better." She said smiling. She handed me my favourite food, (Favourite Food). My eyes sparkled and I grabbed it from her gently. "Thank you so much!" I exclaimed.

"You're very welcome (Y/N). It's your first period, you deserve it." She said.
