Had to update the chapter one for starters🙄 I needed a plot for Chapter 19 BTW CONGRATULATIONS, I GOT WITH HIGH HONORS 😭😭 anyways back to the re write HAHDJDJWJ

Childe POV:

A few weeks now has passed after osials Unleashing and ever since then I still couldn't believe the Lord of Geo Was actually Mister Zhongli.. I can't believe that they wouldn't even share any simple information! They basically played me. The liyue Qixing are still On the move to find the one who unleashed Osial, so that's why I can't really move freely all over liyue these past few days.

As the ginger haired man walked through liyue, he caught sight of the kids playing down the streets while he glanced at them from a far he can't help but wonder what childhood really felt like.. after all he did get cheated out of his childhood. As he kept looking at them, the kids couldn't help but notice him looking, so they approached the ginger haired man, one of the little kids uttered
"Hey mister! We couldn't help but notice that you were looking at us" Childe quickly snapped back to reality as he slightly smiled at the little one and patted each of them.

"I was just watching you guys play, since I have nothing else to do" childe said with a soft tone. He knew kids were fragile and sensitive so he tried his best to be polite.

"what about you come join us play!" One of the kids shouted, childe softly smiled at them once more "I'm an adult, not a kid" he let out a soft chuckle and kneeled to face the kids, "now go on and pla-" he was cut off by a fatui agent quickly Approaching childe.

"Sir! I apologize for my Disturbance but there was an urgent mission for you." Childe turned to the fatui agent as he made the kids leave. "And that is?" Childe asked with a rather annoyed tone, "Some treasure hoarders Invaded one of our weakened camps in mount tianheng, we need you to fix the matter" childe looked at the fatui agent with an annoyed expression "Can't they do that themselves? The fatui's weapons are advanced after all." the fatui agent was just about to talk childe suddenly cut her off "this is meaningless, just give me the specific location of the Camp." As the fatui agent told him the location of the invaded camp, childe quickly fled liyue to go to mount tianheng.

As childe spotted the invaded camp, he stopped at the cliff as he looked at the camp that was on the bottom of the cliff. Childe Jumped down as he landed on the ground. "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen! I think you know why I'm here?" The treasure hoarders prepared for Combat as one of them Laughed "Only one Fatui agent? They've gotta be kidding me" as childe got on his feet, he couldnt help but feel so Pissed..

"how dare he underestimate me!?" he thought to himself..
he just grinned and went to his melee stance.

"For your Information, I'm not only a fatui agent.. I'm childe, the 11th of the fatui harbingers" as he quickly charged and started to slash each of them with his dual hydro blades. He didn't expect that there were a lot of Treasure hoarders that invaded the camp. He continued to give fetal blows, he was caked in blood, his once pure blue Hydro blades we're now tainted with Crismom Red Blood circulating with the water.

Suddenly one of the treasure hoarders threw an electric bomb at childe, it Startled The young man, and it did not help that it landed on his wounds when he used the foul legacy transformation. He let out a small annoyed but pained groan, feeling a sharp pain on his back. he quickly got up and attacked the attacker with perfect reflexes.. Like nothing ever happened.

But then the last standing treasure hoarder threw a fire bomb at childe while he was still affected with the electro from earlier. He let out a pained low groan, his body overloading from the collusion of electro and pyro.

He clutched his chest, finding it hard to breathe.. His vision is becoming blurry,He stammered taking another step but his knees felt too weak to stand, he pushed through, but to his dismay the treasure hoarder fled the scene already. He collapsed on the floor, he tried to keep himself awake, but his body was too worked up, his vision slowly getting hazy and hazier. But before he passed out, a brown haired man suddenly stepped in, he had a touch of golden orange on the end of his hair.. He had long flawless hair and he was pretty tall, he was dressed in a rather formal suit. The man glanced at childe, childe felt warm hands over him but he quickly lost consciousness.

As he awoke he blinked a few times as his sapphire eyes Met a pair of beautiful amber eyes, he broke the eye contact.. It was too weird,, and he couldn't handle the tension. He sat up slowly but after that he felt a sharp pain on his back.. Letting out a low scream with pain hinted in it.

"Ah.. That hurts!"

The Male who was watching over childe, chuckled slightly, then helped up childe. When it came to age wise.. Childe should've been the one doing this, since Zhongli is 6000 years old..

"Have patience In yourself childe, you're deeply injured.. I'm surprised you're even awake right now" the archon looked towards him, then sat down on a chair near his side.

"Mr. Zhongli or should I call you Morax.." His tone had the tone of a kid who was whiny and always complaining.. Childe has anger engraved in his heart for zhongli, after all he did play him for a fool!

Zhongli ignored the question and stood up, quickly leaving for the door. "Get some rest childe, if you need anything.. I think you can manage, right?"

Zhongli turned his head at him then smiled warmly, filling childes heart with absolute butterflies.. Childe nodded reluctantly, gazing back to his hands on his lap that were trembling from the aftermath of the overload. But still childe raised his hand extending it to zhongli, he tugged onto his coat pulling zhongli back. The brunette was shocked and looked back at childe.

"Thank you." Childe uttered and then smiled warmly, zhongli felt a shockwave enter his body after he heard those words. He smiled and took childes trembling hand, giving it support. He caressed his hand ever so slightly, he placed it back on childes lap*

"You're welcome." The brunette smiled warmly at childe. But then he remembered something..

"Ah! Childe.. You might not go back to work for a while, your wounds from your foul legacy transformation opened back up with those new bruises you got."

"Oh, it's alright.. Having cuts and bruises here and there is normal. It'll pass."

"Childe, I'm worried for you. You may not be fortunate again to be found, please do take a rest and I'll handle what to say to your co-workers"

Childe shot up and peeked at zhongli.
"Whait- WAIT! DON'T TELL THEM I GOT SICK OR BEATEN UP OR ANYTHING! They'll think of me as a weak and fragile harbinge-"

"No one thinks of that childe, even strong people's get cuts and bruises, and they also take rests. And you're not different from them, You're not a superhuman to be going off to missions again after being severely injured." Zhongli looked back at childe with a stern face, seemed like there was no turning back.. Zhongli left the room a few moments later...

Childe sighed, looking away from the door. Zhongli did have a point, he was a wise, charming and a very reliable man.. A god with an amazing sense of self but also an amazing sense for his people. It was hard not to like him, but childe still didn't like the way how zhongli did even try to tell him once that he was Rex lapis.. He made an absolute fool out of himself. Childe huddled his knees up then buried his face down on it, feeling his cheeks heat up from the embarrassment.

Zhongli walked out of the room and started to walk away in silence, his shoes clacking with the floor. He cared deeply for childe. He knows how stubborn he can be and that made him kind of anxious especially now since childe and him aren't in the best situation with their friendship.. But even then he still would care for childe. It seemed right but also wrong..

Zhongli caressed the walls, his hands landing on a portrait.. "Guizhong.. Am I doing the right thing?"

Another long chapter of his life opened when he saved childe, a wild and absolutely long chapter for him.. lovely but horrific(wink wink 😉) events for him to unfold
