Meerab had never felt this nervous, not even when she had sat to attempt her bar exams. All kinds of negative thoughts were running through her mind. What if she lost her ability to speak due to the heat of the moment when she was asked "Qabool hai"? What if Maliks came to know of her Nikah and tried to sabotage it? What if the Qazi didn't arrive?

She closed her eyes trying to get rid of all the negativity from her mind. It was very hard for her because her life had been going downhill since her 18th Birthday and she didn't want anything or anyone to snatch Murtasim away from her. He was the only reason that she was still alive, otherwise she wouldn't have hesitated to take her life.

Calm down Meerab. It's your big day, you should be happy. Meerab told herself. Their Nikah was only a few hours away and she shouldn't cloud this special day with her fears. Meerab smiled, "Our Nikah", she thought as she touched the ring on her finger which Murtasim had given to her.

"Do you want your hair up or down?" The hair stylist's words interrupted her thoughts.
"I want them down." Meerab told her with a smile still thinking about Murtasim.

As she took her first steps into the beautifully decorated garden, Meerab's heart fluttered with a mixture of nervousness and exhilaration. Her eyes searched for Murtasim, and when they found him, her breath caught in her chest. There he stood, tall and handsome, dressed in a pristine white sherwani, radiating an aura of elegance and grace.

Maa Begum was walking her down the aisle. If only Anwar's greed hadn't gotten the better of him, she would have walked down the aisle with her father. The wounds from his betrayal were still fresh in Meerab's heart but she pushed the thoughts aside, not wanting to cry on such a beautiful day.

Her gaze was fixed on him, unable to tear her eyes away. The pure white sherwani accentuated his strong physique and masculine charm. The intricate embroidery and delicate embellishments added a touch of regality, perfectly matching the opulence of her own attire. His attire exuded a sense of sophistication and serenity, making her fall in love with him all over again.

His eyes, filled with warmth and adoration, met hers, and in that moment, everything around them faded into the background. His smile, a reflection of his joy and love, reached his eyes, and she knew that she was the center of his universe. As he approached her with a gentle yet confident stride, she couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the life they were about to embark upon together.

As Murtasim stood at the entrance of the beautifully decorated garden, anticipation filled his heart. The moment had finally arrived, and he eagerly awaited the sight of his Meerab. His eyes sparkled with excitement as he caught a glimpse of her descending the aisle with his mother, adorned in the mesmerizing red and gold lehenga he had chosen with utmost love and care.

His breath caught in his throat as he beheld his wife-to-be in all her resplendent glory. She was a vision of ethereal beauty. The rich red hue of her lehenga complemented her radiant complexion, while the golden embroidery and shimmering embellishments accentuated her every move. The voluminous skirt gracefully swayed with each step, and as she glided towards him, he couldn't help but be enchanted by her regal aura.

Her eyes, adorned with kohl, sparkled with excitement and love, drawing him in with their magnetic charm. Her lustrous hair cascaded down, delicately decorated with intricate golden accessories that perfectly matched the embellishments on her lehenga. Her smile, a reflection of joy and anticipation, illuminated the entire garden and warmed his heart.

As Meerab and Murtasim stood face to face, they were each captivated by the other's beauty and presence. In this serene garden, adorned with flowers and love, they were ready to embark on their journey as partners, united in the sacred bond of matrimony.
