A girl. They brought an unconscious girl from the box. He was really terrified. Everything was clear in his mind. Those people practicing human slaughter. The girl's hands were tightened with stone. She was in her early teens. A school-going girl and now she was lying there unconscious of her fate.
Bruce was in a deep shock. He thought that for a moment and retreated. He was moving slowly with no noise. He did not want to get involved with such dangerous people. He moved his back toward the girl and vanished into the jungle.
On his way back to the camp, there was a constant battle between his brain and heart. His brain wanted him to leave this site and save himself from this unknown dangerous situation. His heart reminded him of the innocent child who was about to be slaughtered for no reason.
He was very confused. He did not want to be involved with them but he left his own child in such a situation. That thought irritated him so much that he took a bold decision. He knew that maybe this was his last day on earth. But now he was determined to save that girl. He stopped and moved back to that hell from where he just came.
