(my names are so original lol. also the first one doesn't want the photo to work so you don't get either of the photos.)

The cats dance 'long
Their merry way
Hands entwined
Skipping 'round to child rhymes.
The sickening scheme
Of Love To Fall
The times fall down
Cradle and all.
Their singing their dancing
Their laughing their playing
Their growing older and older
Like they always should have.
No longer kittens
Dancing in the yard
They've now grown older
And their childhood is gone.

***

A man sits solemnly
Right in the dirt
Playing what others said
Was the thing he was best at
But he wasn't.
He longed for more
So desperate to grab
Any sort of encouragement
For the thing he wanted
But he never received it.
He played the tune
That felt all too familiar
The joy been stripped out
He begged to stop
But he couldn't.
He played it again
Content of the loop
Being stuck as perfect
And never gaining his life
He strummed again.
