Olivia's: POV
It's been a long morning since I arrived at the University
I've been doing lectures non stop. After my third class
I headed down to the cafeteria to get myself something to eat, l spend all weekend grading papers while spending time with my daughter Nayla. I walked inside the dining room, there were only a few people around sitting at the tables. I haven't seen Lena at all today we usually have lunch together, she's probably still out of town visiting family. I went to get a tray and walked over to the food court, picked up a chicken salad placed it on my tray
I moved on down and looked at the selections of desserts
Olivia decides to go for the chocolate cake. She puts it on her tray and moves down the line, then swiped her meal card. And went over to take a seat at the table in the corner, l thought that was the soft voice said. Olivia looks up and sees Lena standing beside her table, Lena hi
Olivia says to Lena. Lena pulls out the chair took a seat
I wasn't sure you would be in today Olivia stated
We actually got back Sunday afternoon l was going to call out sick, it was no sense lounging around the house with nothing to do Lena tells me. So how your trip to your hometown Olivia asked, it was nice l got a chance to visit with my parents. Their thinking about flying out for Thanksgiving, if you're aren't busy l would love for you to come over unless you have other plans already Lena asks me. I love to come it will be good for me and Nayla to get out the house, it gets kinda lonely with just her and l
It's been a long time since we engaged outside of our comfort zone. I pretty much stay to myself, most of the time my friend Casey tries to drag me out. We're supposed to getting together on Friday for some drinks, l prefer quiet nights in doors reading Olivia States. I know how it is moving to the strange place you'll find your way, have you tried joining any clubs in the area. There's a book store not far from here hosts a book club one a month
The college offers a yoga class Wednesdays and Saturdays
You just to figure out what you wanna do. Plus l believe they offer child care if you don't have a sitter for your daughter, l took one of their advanced classes yoga
It helps with stress and flexibility. Most of the time my wife and I go running every morning at 6:00 am
Lena feels bad for her new friend, l'll look into it
Maybe it will help me meet new people in the area
Olivia thanks Lena for the information. Liv says to Lena
We continue on conversing about different things going on in our lives, Olivia what time does your next class start
Cause I have a free period after lunch. I probably grade some papers. Lena says to me, my next class doesn't start until for another hour and it's not over till 4:35 Olivia told Lena, we finished up our food and leave out the cafeteria
Then Lena and I go into different directions of the building.
