──🎸 james potter knew he loved beatrice reed , so why did he cheat on her with lily evans? he's not too sure. all he knows is that one day , on his way home from band practice , he's getting into the redhead's car and doing things he definitely shouldn't be doing. things that he should be doing with beatrice - his betty - but no. he's with lily evans and even though his mind is screaming at him to stop , he doesnt. and , now , there's definitely no going back because all of a sudden he's shirtless , and lily is on his lap trailing kissed down his neck.

──🎧 beatrice reed hated confrontation. probably because she cried whenever somebody yelled at her. even if she wasnt sad , even if she tried her hardest to push her feelings down , even if she was being yelled at over something completely stupid and out of her control - those damn tears still found a way into her eyes. so you wanna know what she did when inez grant told her james potter cheated on her? she ignored it. beatrice wasnt going to tell him anything. instead , she was going to wait it out and pray that inez got the wrong information.

──💿 that happened the last week of junior year. now , its barely a week before their senior year starts and james and betty havent spoken all summer. they miss each other , yes , but james is too filled with guilt to actually pluck up the courage to apologize and betty is choosing to ignore their relationship ever happened. and to be honest? it's working pretty fucking well for her. she cried for a week and then decided she was done wallowing. james was not going to ruin senior year for her. betty was going to have the best last year of highschool with her friends. screw boyfriends. screw girlfriends. screw drama. and screw james fucking potter. she wasnt going to let him back into her life.
